I don't understand what we're doing on the outside contain. They're killing us with stretch zone game and we are getting our ass kicked in the DE v OT game. Going to have to do something different, otherwise those counters and zone are going to go for 8 yards a carry all night.
You know how against Houston, you knew the game was over in spite of the score because of winning the LOS?

Defense looks like garbage so far. Like the old UNLV defense and this team could barely do anything last week.
Eye candy in the background is burning us... the simple motion in and across changes defense and Daniels reads that into an RPO

I tried to say it... They were going to give us a heavy dose of Neal and JD6 running to open up his passing.. and we weren't going to get 4 turnovers... they went back to their offense last year which is comfortable and away from Grimes favored system
Now the offense is becoming “one” dimensional with Sluka running every play, not good at all!
Really need to be willing to throw when they have a cover zero with 8 in the box.

If UNLV D can keep KU from scoring, UNLV should get a TD on the next drive with KU D gassed.
Marion might have the best offense designed ever but he is absolutely atrocious at calling plays in short yardage situations and continues to show 0 confidence in QB to not make a mistake in Redzone
Apparently the go-go is about rolling out unique formations to run the ball up the gut 40x/game and take a few deep shots the QB may or may not complete. No use for any TEs, WR out routes or crosses or play action passes to RBs.
Disappointed with tackling, coverage, pressure, passing … other than that, not too bad.
Doesn't help when our best receiver is open and for some reason does a stutter step to make himself not open and the ball goes over his head
Where's the sidecar formations or the motions... we're telegraphing what we're doing and essentially it's either Sluka running or a back with a "try to stop us"
Look at the last 14 or so games, it's pretty much the MO. Now, I didn't expect this to be a win, and I also still expect a very good season. But we have GOT to get someone he trusts to open up the plays, and in turn the field if we plan to compete with fringe ranked, recently ranked and currently ranked teams. I'm not asking to compete with the top 5 or 10, I am simply asking to be competitive vs the last 15 of the T25. We aren't keeping defenses honest being so 1-sided vs better teams.

White not having a good game at all. He didn’t pick a good game to play like this.
This game would be completely different if he would catch the ball.. run routes like he knows how to do and block
Another game or 2nd half when Sluka and White get on the same page...game over!
