Looking for peeps who wants to golf on a regular basis. There’s usually my daughter, her boyfriend and myself. I don’t really work, she’s a Doctor and her boyfriend works for Stryker Medical Technology Company. I could golf three, four or five days a week but they can‘t due to work. I use to golf 25 years ago and picked it back up last year.

I golf at Eagle Crest Executive Course and at Angel Park ( 4 total courses ) where I’m a member at both. Prices range from 20.00-43.00 depending on if it’s 9 or 18 holes and the tee off times. Handicap is 20 on the longer courses and I’m getting better the more I golf so far. I’m looking to improve 1-2 strokes per month on any of the longer courses- I just want to be consistent. I use a cart on the par 3 12 hole at Angel Park due to both knee being replaced in 2021 and carts are included on all the 18 holes. So if your at least better then me let me know, it’s fun and totally aggravating at the same time I usually go around 10-11am maybe earlier when it gets hotter

Great, exciting start to the season. Hope it’s an indication of things to come.

Any word on how things are going with our new offense for the football team? Someone stated that Weimer is leaving because he got beat out for the starting slot position. Not sure if this is true or not, but it got me thinking about how the offense is progressing in general.

Is Brum the clear cut #1 QB at this point, or TBD?
How about WR's? I'm assuming Ricky White is a lock, but who else are the likely starters?
What sort of lineup are we looking at? In terms of # of RB's, WR's, line, etc? Single TE, dual TE's? No TE's? I really don't know much about this system so appreciate the input.

This is a huge commitment! I've talked to Chad a lot and hes a high quality kid. Will make a difference for us from day 1. Great pickup over a very good recruiting staff and team over at UTSA

A 4-Star recruit just told me that he will be visiting soon. The dates are still being sorted out with CKK. This is a big deal because DJ specifically said that he wants to play with this recruit so the staff is putting a lot of effort into this.

This will be the most important recruiting weekend for UNLV football in awhile. The OV list:

Juco Commit WR Karim McCune
3-Star DL Chad Otutu
3-Star OL Hank Purvis
3-Star WR Kayden McGee
4-Star S Mykel Patterson-McDonald
3-Star RB Devin Green / #1216 Overall

We are in the Top 2 for one of them with a decision coming very soon after the visit, Top 3 for another, and one of them is basically committed as of two weeks ago. Thats what I've been hearing about this group.

I was talking with Spilotro about this on Twitter. Bayno retired after thirty eight years of coaching. I honestly hope he’s well and healthy. Great guy!!

4-Star SF James Evans just told me that he will be taking an official visit this week

2 have officially committed today. One was a lock that I mentioned the other day. He told me three weeks ago but wanted to visit first; told the staff today.

The other one just committed today. Another one told me he will go public by the end of this week.

Any advice for summer programs for over achievers kids aged 15, 13, 9? Science and technologies.

My sister took her own life last Saturday. It’s really hard because we just lost my dad last September. Please keep talking a lot about Rebel athletics. It really helps.

BREAKING: West Virginia Hall of Fame coach Bob Huggins has informed his team that he won’t be coaching and intends to resign, following last night’s DUI incident, source told

. Huggins told the players that he was unsure who would be coaching them this season. Huggins, 69, has 935 career victories and has a pair of Final Four appearances. The DUI comes about six weeks after he made homophobic comments on a Cincinnati radio show. Huggins was suspended for the first three games of next season and his contract was altered to a year-by-year agreement, and he also had his pay reduced by $1 million. According to the complaint, Huggins recorded a blood alcohol level of .210 on Friday night.

Nice breakdown by Grimala on Kalib. Based on his observations it sounds like having a center paired with him may be better than asking Kalib to shoulder the center responsibilities.

3-Star DL Chad Otutu has told me that he has narrowed his list down to 2 and will be making a decision very soon. UTSA and us.

Otutu will be on campus from tomorrow until Sunday.

Brian Huff, a 4-Star LB from Arkansas was on an OV this weekend. Top 300 player in the nation. It's a long shot but he's very close to Scherer and Odom.

Melvin Laster seemed like a long too so let's see if we can grab Huff.
