Evidently he deleted his social media pages overnight. Probably catching a ton of grief from people in the fandom.

However we can support the team, but him specifically (even though I don't think we look at the loss as "his fault"), we should make a point to show these guys support. Especially after something where they'll take blame on themselves. Hate to see a youngster beating himself up. Had Thomas's "fumble" or a maiava int been right in the closing window, they'd likely feel the same.

Not sure how we can specifically support a player short of NIL, any thoughts?

There is the scrimmage for UNLV/Missouri State. Not sure if I’ll get any updates, but think I will.

UNLV pretty much dominated the game.

100 more total yards. More 1st downs. Had the edge in 3rd down conversions.

This loss stings a lot.

Come out after halftime leading by 10. Get a quick three and out. Chance to add to lead and possibly go up by 3 scores, and put all kinds of pressure on Fresno.

Muffed punt. Gives Fresno a short field.

Maiava with a bad interception. Gives Fresno a short field.
Jet fumbles (Allegedly) giving Fresno another short field.

Had a shot to tie (possibly go for two and the win) and a sure TD is dropped.

I have confidence in this staff to get the guys refocused but that can be a tough loss to come back from.

Until that third quarter I thought that was the best they had played all season.

Still the the AF game will be a tough one. A lot more confident in their chances against Wyoming and San Jose.

I’ve heard it from a few people now. The waiver/transfer thing with Keylan Boone is not expected to be approved. I think it was expected to fail from the very beginning, considered a very long shot to happen in the first place.

Who knows with the NCAA though. Not a lot of things make sense with the way they operate.

Football … the team is very focused but eager, very business like. Practices were strong all week … there’s not a lot of variance/outliers … everyone has been on the same page … they’re hungry … it’s very unUNLV-like.

I hope it materializes as a UNLV blowout. But another team is involved, a pesky detail.

I’ll be pulling for Wyoming to lose, Hawaii to beat SJSU, Reno and UNM ending in a 0-0 tie, and (obviously) us to win. Is it crazy that the Rams are getting 12.5 at home to Air Force…on a day where it’s supposed to be snowing? Let’s go, Rams!

If he was still here and considered in our top 3 backs - he would have double if not triple the number of touches!

We are ranked about 21 spots higher in yards per game versus TAMU and about 22 spots higher in points per game. I would never have thought that we would have upgraded once Petrino bailed.

Seems crazy or strange to say considering our history...

But anything less than 8 wins would feel like disappointment at this point.

Start of the year I thought 5-7 maybe 6-6. I thought team would be better coached but still lack enough horses to get significantly better in the W/L column.

Well six wins are here already and I'm definitely happy about that. But it really feels like 8 is a realistic possibility.

alright serious question, I went to check in on everyone’s favorite transfer…so he tore his chest muscle and is out for the season over at Michigan St.

I like him but we’re playing so good…I totally forgot about him.

I think he will be playing on Sundays. Hope my sorry Dallas Cowboys will pick him up.

Yeah he beat the crap outta that Michigan player but you kinda gotta like that same energy he would have for Reno.
