I'm thinking the odds are 100% we lose SDSU and over 50% we lose another team ( Colorado State?)

If we lose SDSU and Colorado State what should the MWC do? If we add teams who should we approach? Should the MWC consider merging with another conference? Does anyone have confidence the new MWC commissioner can handle this task?

Looks like there’s a chance Porter Moser leaves for the Notre Dame job. If I remember correctly Kevin had recruited Jalen Hill to Oklahoma. He obviously didn’t leave during the coaching change to Moser but he will have one more year of eligibility. Milos Uzan was also a player that we recruited from here in town who is there for his freshman season. Might be something to look out for. Either one or both would be solid players to snag. Kevin has relationships with both.

It’s looking way ahead, of course, especially given that we’ve lost 7 of 10 or whatever it might be … but AFA first, BSU second .. that’s the side of the bracket you want to be on. BSU was dropped another, this one at USU who is peaking at the right time perhaps.

UNLV absolutely should dismantle Air Force. Have they even won a MWCT game before? I’d rather have Wyoming first, but AFA should be simple.

Than a more rested Boise. Won’t be easy but I watch them play and I’m sorry, for second best in league, it’s a weak second best. UNLV will obviously be a dog … not saying they will or should even, but there’s no reason they can’t go toe to toe at home.

Kurt KITAYAMA wins pga tourney today. $3.6m. Former Unlv guy. They said he got a nickname of "the project" as his game was so rough starting college.

Keshon just got ejected for headbutting a FUNR player. The headbutt was very light and I'm not sure if he even made contact. IMO, it was more like they were talking and Gilbert put his head forward.

I referenced this silent commit probably a month and a half ago, but another commit has gone public and signed. Michael Bareman, JUCO Offensive Tackle. He has a good shot of starting next year.

Don’t know that it’ll happen - imagine a UNLV loss today (at UNR) and an AFA win today (SJSU).

That would put UNLV in a four way tie for 7th (or 10th) place in conference.

A top tier of 4 teams, a clear delineation to the middle tier of 2 teams, with a clear delineation for the bottom 5 teams.

Don’t ask me the tie breaker for 4 teams occupying 7-10th seeds, I have no clue.

Looking at everything before this season, i figured we could brain dead it to 20 wins. At least 10-8 in conference placing us at the top of the second tier or bottom of first tier. Boy was i wrong with that. Nailed the OOC pretty easily because the strength was an extreme so it was easy to guesstimate that. But we really crapped the bed in conference. Holy hell.

Below are the TV contracts for some of the Sports Conferences in the U.S. When we lose SDSU and most likely one other program I can't believe we'll stay at near the same payout no matter what program we replace them with.

UNLV will have losing record in MWC, only San Jose and Air Force have done worst.

It tells you where UNLV is at in 2023, I don't see anything changing in the next 2 yrs under KK.

Gavin Thomson, WR from Pitt, has transferred in. He doesn't have many stats, but I heard that some starters from Pitt, including Jordan Addison in 2021, say that his practice film is crazy. Lets see what he can bring to the table. Marion brought him in so that has to mean something.

At minimum, he's a depth piece.

CKK has to go after this abysmal performance. How do we claw our way back to being down by only 4 and then give up a run like this? I didnt expect a win tonight but it gets more embarrassing each game. It's time to face reality.

MWC released the conference schedule today. We get our bye week before UNR. We play Hawaii early too. We have a good chance to start the season with some wins. I could see a 5-2 start.

No, not those days...the days when coaches used to piss and moan about having the tournament at the Thomas & Mack? It really is remarkable how consistently administration screws up.
