Odom likely will struggle to get Purdue turned around. But it will hardly derail his career. He won't be out of football long or without work.

Even if he fails, he lands another DC job with millions in the bank and continuing to do something he loves which is be around football.

Even if he fails at Purdue he's a young enough guy his work at UNLV would get him another G6 job at some point.

Love to hear how that's a sad ending to his story..

It's kind of retarded when you consider that both Boise and Reno were D2 and they had no issues. There is no difference between hi-end FCS and low end FBS. Nothing at all. In fact, they probably have better programs at hi-end FCS.

Also, the Sam Houston game is not going to be a pushover like Utah Tech was last year. I am legit concerned with that first game. Another program that was FCS not long ago.
