This is Terry T (Rebelations). Back in town and had to say hello. Intrigued by this staff's grown man personality and Odom's vision for his offense ( well, I'm just glad he actually has a vision for the type of offense he wants lol). We assume the defense should be solid because Odom has a lot of years of doing it well in tough places.

This looks a ilttle like financial investment and vision from the powers that be for once. It also has the makings of something that just might work if we can be competitive in the NIL game against teams we are realistically competing with. If we don't spend the money on quality transfer portal players, we will continue to flounder. If we do, things could get interesting. This group of coaches know how it's done after so many years in the SEC lol.

Anyway, I have read the board daily and its nice to know that Scrub is still phucking crazy and Book still posts like he's hammered EVERYTIME!


It's also great to see BC enjoying getting under everyone's skin with a smile and that Bull still has a great eye for the game and understands how to verbalize what he sees...no shit there

Outside of individual one on one, what is UNLV actual offense?

What are the implications for that? Why would we believe KK can recruit any better for next year than for this year? Can his staff recruit at all?

Since last night 2nd half disaster, I just finished work and after thinking about UNLV and this year team, I thought what if.

Tark stays and the mother of all fill in the blank, allows Tark to have a top 5 program, how many more years and NCAA does UNLV win, does Grg take over and continue the success, and UNLV has another 30 years of success like Gonzaga now is going on what 20 without the title?

What if Rice doesn't get fired, doesn't look over his shoulder and lets kids play, team gets hot and makes the NCAA and goes on sweet 16th run, and he's still here with all the top talent as he learns on the job, to me UNLV would be a top 10 program, I really do, granted I do have blinders on, just hoping UNLV will be good again, but that team had talent, no way they should have been that bad, dammmmm

For some of you, I say most of you never seen how good UNLV really was, UCLA was scared to play UNLV, Arizona and UNLV had such a great rivalry national tv every year, and and over 20k for the Navy game and David Robinson at the Mack, UNLV was Duke of basketball and boom it's over with.

Now I think, what's UNLV ceiling with KK, are we basically maybe a top 5 MWC program and maybe once in awhile make the NCAA, and maybe for once win the MWC Season and Tourney?

Am I dreaming, maybe UNLV doesn't win darn thing for another 20 years, the administration just doesn't get it, or just maybe UNLV gets into the PAC or Big 12 and becomes big in football and hoops????

Front court scoring is just horrible, lack of recruiting if your recruiting defense you can't have 2 guards who can't guard in Webster/McCabe, playing doesn't have scoring or front court to compensate for it.

Just horrible loss tonight. To give up 50+ in 2nd half is inexcusable. This team is what it is, not good enough when they don't bring it on both sides.

Can they finish top 5. I guess, but shortcoming of this team is getting exposed in conference, 0 for 2 at home.

I don't worry about NCAA because it's not happening, Boise put beat down on us, that's all on staff, you can't tell me they are that much better talent level.

One thing I can say KK is not AD coach, the recruiting has to get better next yr, just being middle MWC team won't do it.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs has a brother looking to transfer in from JUCO. His D1 offers are from UAB, Texas ST, Teledo and Arkansas ST. The question will be if we have a spot for him as we begin to bring in more recruits to close out this class.

Everyones villain. Does he still do UNLV games? Honestly haven’t heard his name in a long time.

I was sitting in the brewery at the bottom of my building watching the Zags v byu, I walked back into my building and my doorman asked how are you feeling (good since you asked) I saw you in the brewery. I said yeah having some beers watching Zags game. He said probably a guy that lives in the building doing the game, I saw him leave and he said he’d begone a few days doing 3 games.

So I asked what is his name, he said Hall, I said Dave Hall and he said yep.

So apparently Dave Hall is my neighbor. We have a couple of Padres here too, but I feel like Hall is the guy I need to know the most. I have questions.

Did anyone else get chills when they saw Keshon Gilbert pull off one of the iconic Larry Johnson plays from the 1990 national championship game?

To dislike Leon Rice. I just don't like him. Not sure why and it had nothing to do with his coaching style or his record. I just genuinely dislike him and I feel guilty for it.
