Yes. Dan is pushing for 1 transfer window. You can transfer wherever you want in that window... but you have to stay. No more spring poachingSending a message to the rest?

Dont forget Boise.. They think they will be the G6 CFP bid every season and collect an extra 4 million per year and have the travel expenses paid for plus the basketball possibility..SDSU CSU and Gonzaga all thinking. .
Suckers....
The 3x exit fee doubles, so yeah, they have to pay up by Sunday and give official notice or pay 30 million each.. which I'm not opposed to... more money off the top for us all.Should this not get completed today, will they be continuing mediation on Saturday and Sunday?
If not, and the ex-MWC doesn't give a formal notice, the $5,000, etc., then the talks have to change immediately.
Nah… the new guys here now are better! 😉Sending a message to the rest?
Sending a message to the rest?Wonder if it is because their replacements are now better, if he is more trying to send a message or if we simply don’t have room?

It would have have to move out of Las Vegas completely.Makes perfect sense but the tournament would be moved from the Mack as soon as that happened. So I guess you choose revenue over what’s best for the team. I need to find a calendar but I think it’s been about 13 years since it even mattered.
Which reminds me that the MW tournament also counts as home games for UNLV. Which is why I think we should treat all UNLV MW tournament games like home games. Give season ticket holder first dibs on their seats, bring back our intro and light show. Give us our bench and the band their spot. The whole 9. If the NCAA are going to consider these home games, let's make these effing home games!
Should this not get completed today, will they be continuing mediation on Saturday and Sunday?Midday Thursday (Day 8 not counting the holiday weekend) of mediation and still nothing but crickets. Are the Traitors going to write that $5,000 check on (Sunday) June 1 or not? Maybe UNLV should quietly throw their check in the pile as well?![]()
Any that transferred to a school in the Big 10?There have been multiple players that transferred out to another school and asked CDM to come back. He said no. Grass isnt always greener.
As Oregon State and Washington State slide downwards, they will come to regret that they gave everything away, including the kitchen sink, to get Gonzaga onboard. I truly believe that this was a move they made early in an attempt to make the PAC look big time so that they could get one of the better teams like Memphis or UNLV to join the PAC, and instead they are stuck providing additional funding to Gonzaga, who do not even have a football program, in the same was the MWC screwed over everyone in favor of BSU out of desperation to get Boise State to join the MWC!I'm correct? Well F-ing DUH! I'm always correct!
And did you know that the "new" PAC will give half of any NCAA BB money to tournament teams (used to be a 12-way split). AND pay 100% of the travel, etc. expenses? I'm not shitting. Don't have the source link handy but it was on the Internet so it had to be correct. Right?

To be clear…this wasn’t to advocate in favor of the R1 conference. It’s was just showing who this idea would include, and it’s a big piece of the MWC and the 2 PAC schools.Oh and hey - my board got sidetracked on some dumb-ass notion that the Pac focus on R1 Universities. A copy and paste from 95Coug - he's a good egg). Any names (particularly bottom-feeders) look familiar?
95Coug:
There are a total of 38 R1 universities west of the Mississippi.
23 of them play football. 15 are FBS, 7 FCS, 1 D2
The FBS teams are:
- Colorado State
- Hawaii
- New Mexico State
- North Texas
- Oregon State
- Rice
- San Diego State
- UNLV
- New Mexico
- Nevada Reno
- Utah State
- UTEP
- UTSA
- WSU
- Wyoming
I'm correct? Well F-ing DUH! I'm always correct! You are correct. A lot of their money came from the tournament.
You are correct. A lot of their money came from the tournament.Well exactly correct. Every sentence. And to note, while yes Gonzaga punches above its weight, where does it get the big exposure (=$$) from? Big-name non-con games where they keep ALL the net money. You can't tell me that their WCC games draw much, if any, viewer interest beyond regional.

But nowhere near enough to warrant a full share.
This was an absolute overpay by the PAC.
And its cutting into that AAV.
I cannot imagine Boise will be happy if that AAV drops from 10 mil a year to 9 mil a year because of it.
All those metrics...
Couldve had Memphis, Tulane, and UNLV... instead they got Utah St., NMST and forced into paying a full share to Gonzaga despite Gonzaga not playing football...
Hes a total homer..![]()
Murray: My preseason All-Mountain West first and second football teams
The Mountain West will hold its football media days next month at the Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. During those sessions, the league will announce a presnevadasportsnet.com
Can there be a bigger homer article that give UNR more representation than UNLV for this list. ( though Jet Thomas was a POY candidate).
We had a lot of turnover, and many of the incoming players don't have the best in game experience, but the type of dudes we got are exactly the same type of players that tend to take over these honors within conference each year. Hard to pick who will succeed and who will bust, but still.
