Nah it kinda makes sense there.

Td and extra point makes it 35 to 31 you still need a TD for lead.

If you get the 2 there, it's 35 to 32 you only need a FG to tie.

Don't get it 35 -30 so you still need TD.

No real difference between 31 and 30 in how you approach game.

I'm ok with it there.

Maybe there was something underneath? Didn’t see the entire field. And maybe he just honed in on the playmaker who was well covered, and he never gave him a shot for the catch?
