The schedule this year is obviously too tough, Although Oak Hills Christian lost today to North Dakota St 108-14 and to a really good Valley City State University 131-39 and Bemidji 112-31 and several other blowout losses they do have 2 wins. So I also propose that UNLV schedule those two schools as well.

What do you all think Ricky White will do? Stay or leave for the draft?

Lady Rebels just put the smack down on Oklahoma. They currently sit at about 27/28 in both polls. There is no way they are kept out of the top 25 on Monday.

I have no earthly idea what the athletic department got from BallerTV to broadcast tonight’s basketball game, but it should not be easier to find tonight’s hockey game on YouTube than it is on this strange app.

No disrespect to the hockey club, as they work very hard and they’re one of the better teams in the ACHA but, the lack of exposure for the basketball team is shocking.

We are, what, 3-3 with no good wins, a couple bad losses …

Of course the cancelled game … as it should have been in light of the tragedy … that takes precedence and should have been cancelled … but given we were a 10 point underdog, not playing well, without a key player … record wise, could be sitting at 3-4.

But there is ZERO excitement, anticipation … we have a game tomorrow against a really bad team, should be a win … but how many people actually care? Looking at our crowds this year … really, really bad. … again, I do consider that a good barometer of program health, not record. It’s very slow growth Marvish right now … have we sunk lower than Marv? I never thought it was possible, not in my worst dreams could UNLV have more empty seasons than Marv. I don’t think it’s that bad, but at this point, I don’t know?

Still a lot of basketball left. I don’t have a good feeling, I don’t know anybody that does. People that have any sort of confidence seem to be the type that should be in solitary confinement with a straight jacket on. I know several people here pumped things up a bit, myself, I thought we would be a 5th place, potential NCAAT fringe type of team … and that’s so far off it’s not even funny. I really missed, sure, a lot of hoops left … but man, oh man.

I have to check daily if there’s a game going on later. That’s insane to me. I used to be able to rattle off every date and location with ease.

Somebody mentioned watching the Rebels is like heading to the old folks home to watch a loved one with Alzheimer’s .. that’s harsh for anybody that has experienced it, but it is what it feels like.

Is there a unique virus going on? I’ve been sick since Monday. Started with chills, body aches, headache and a cough. Then a couple of hours after that I couldn’t hold any fluid downs. I still can’t today when my Zoran wears an off. Which I hate because the medication makes me very sleepy. This virus feels like a hybrid between stomach virus and a cold. I couldn’t handle it as I needed to go to the ER last night.

A couple of players/commits have messaged me and asked me to let them know if the staff was recruiting players from the portal at their position and if someone from their position group was going to commit.
