Had been figuring all along that next year is another rebuild with all the seniors - but with the emergence of whaley and the injury to hill - if dedan, Hill and Whaley are here next year i think it would be a solid nucleus to build around - like a poor man's Anthony, Augmon, LJ. In his third season as Rebel head coach, Kevin Kruger is 20-23 in Mountain West Conference games. Nothing else needs to be said about whether we need a new coach or not.

Seton Hall edged DePaul at DePaul 72-39. DePaul is 3-17. They were a national power in late 70's and 80's. I sometimes think Unlv could not be any worse, then you see DePaul and realize things could be worse.

New Mexico put beat down on Reno last night, that's how you do it, dominate teams at home, instead UNLV has 2 losses in conference at home.

Fresno and Wyoming, both at home, no excuses this week, should be 2 wins, it's that simple.

Reno and CSU and BSU all in trouble now for NCAA, Reno/CSU non-conference wins now in the past, MWC scouting exploits both teams weakness up front.

Any new scuttlebutt about the PacWest? I guess we are sort of on hold, with the "scheduling arrangement", for a while. I'm still annoyed as hell about the Pac-2 aligning our smaller sports, basketball in particular, with that JV league WCC. Some of those venues look like HS gyms. If we are going to take the Mtn West out for this 2 year test drive, let's go all out. I think you all play basketball and baseball and soccer and all that? Maybe not rowing, which WSU is pretty good at.

Good old Pullman, home of my Cougs, is trying to schedule flights to Vegas! We expanded and renovated our airport so can do more and bigger.
