Tunmise Adeleye faced criminal charges following his arrest on February 21, 2024, at Texas State University. The charges included unlawfully carrying a weapon, evading arrest with a vehicle, reckless driving, and failure to identify. Of these, evading arrest was the only felony charge, while the others were misdemeanors. He pleaded not guilty to the failure to identify charge. There are no publicly available updates confirming the final resolution of these charges, such as convictions, dismissals, or plea agreements, as of the latest information from early 2025.
Definitely worth taking a chance on with that talent! It would be different if assaulted someone or similar.

Pastner's G-Tech Offense

The 1-4 is what Lute Olsen ran at Zona and has always been CJP's base. At GaTech he added in some Princeton principles to the 1-4. Medved uses some of the same aspects of the Princeton to his offense and uses some 1-4 and 5 out. They're definitely not running Carril's version but some of the same cuts and back cuts are the same. I haven't had a chance to watch the video, but I think if the guy reviewing the offense says it's 70-80% 1-4 with some Princteon sprinkled in that would sound right to me.

For those thinking about travelling to the first game this year

We can circle back once this game gets closer, for sure.

There are several places worth going to around the stadium which is good, better than the UH stadium.

I have heard good things about B&B, but have never been. Dating a Vegetarian usually means I don't go to steakhouses much anymore, and I feel like I can do steak better at home anyway. However, Steak 48 is probably my favorite place that I have been to. It is a bit more upscale though.

There are some good places for tacos, but not many "taco stands" that aren't like a food truck. Most are sit down restaurants. But I know of one or two that are good.
Steak is the one thing I always like better in restaurants. The cut has a lot to do with it I am sure. I'm not cooking Snake River Farms Wagyu at home vs what you get at a steakhouse.

Yeah we will see on this one. There is a reason he played for these nothing schools and was a bench player at that for two years. And the other schools recruiting him now didn't indicate a player who made a huge leap. I think he did well in an awful conference and he will be a bench player here. Or maybe a bench player who is forced into starting because that is where we are at now with NIL.
Think Curtis Terry!

OT: Bill would give UNM, NMSU athletics $2.5M each to fund NIL

Collusion, get enough politicians to support it and what are casinos going to say in their attack ads? Politician X wanted casinos to pay more in taxes? Support this politician instead who wants to keep casino taxes nice and low? The vast majority of voters won't shed any tears for casinos having to pay more in taxes.
I like this because it’s true! Lol

I am going to have to get your recommendations for food out there. What is worth my time? Looking primarily for Texas Steaks and a half decent taco shop.
He would know better than me but I can tell you that the steakhouse we went to B&B Butchers was awesome and relatively reasonably priced for a steakhouse. Not Capital Grille or Ruth Chris prices a notch below but tasted just as good.

H.S Ball in Louisville - second team all state. Played two years at Illinois State - bench player getting minutes in most games. Transferred to Winthrop - appears he redshirted for medical ( Ankle and Hip ) . Transferred to Texas Rio Grande - breakout year playing well averaging 12 pts 6 rebounds. Up and down three point shooter But average 42% last year. If he continues to play like last year he could be a piece for CJP. At least he's experienced but he'll be up against way more talented players.

Easy dude, he is now a Rebel, quit characterizing the guy!
The past is the past!
Don’t take the quote literally, it’s a compliment to Adeleye. It’s similar to Romanowski on the 49ers, Broncos, Raiders. Brings a certain element, edge that can’t be taught.

Do they cross the line sometimes? Yes, but they also make your opponents pucker up and keep their heads on a swivel.

We are the university of second chances, get use to seeing a few guys like this annually in football and basketball, it’s more than likely the only way we get 5 stars into our programs!
You mean you want more Rebels? Guys like this play with an edge. Not necessarily a bad thing, unless they start pissing off the zebras. Still, even then so long as the other team fears him its worth some of the penalty yards. Sign him up!

And what politician is going to end his or her career on that hill.... it'd be cheaper to get that person voted out of office than donate more to UNLV.

Assuming Hawaii gets done..Then what?

Initially I thought the decision to stay in MWC was a mistake

But more and more I think spending 10 million dollars to leave the MWC to make possibly only 3 million more in media money would be fiscally irresponsible with more realingment on the horizon.

First three to four years you aren't making a dime you're just paying down debt.

Go dominate the MWC (hopefully) invest into the program and see how it shakes out in another 4 or 5 years

Either you're attractive enough to a power conference or whatever mega league that gets formed or you aren't. Being in the PAC won't change that.
A natural response to not being in the mega league would be... to merge the left overs of the Pac/MW/ some of CUSA and form a regional conference.

Win games. In what is slowly becoming the most dynamic sports capital market in the country. The rest will follow organically, Every CFB fan East of the Mississippi would drool over an annual away day trip to Vegas.
