It wasn't jsut Boise. We were ranked ahead of Army even with 2 losses, and many had us ahead of Tulane with both with 2 losses, though the CFP ranking did not.The only reason that the AAC wasn't in front of the MWC was due to BSU having a very high rating due to the one game played verse Oregon. Remove BSU and the rest of the MWC didn't do anything. When the MWC breaks to the PAC, they will have BSU and a bunch of SCRUBS (sorry, pun intended!). Depending on being able to get NIU and one other team from back east, I do not believe there will be that noticeable of a difference between the MWC and the PAC on a national level. The bottom line is that UNLV must be as good as they were this year or better. As for BSU, remove the wins over UNLV, and they didn't beat a single team ranked in the top 40.
Excellent thread! Thanks for this post and all who are contributing to it with info, I appreciate the effort. This is the info we all want to hear about, much appreciated!
Wait a second. You're talking about guys who kick? As in the 'French Commies' you despise guys who kick?He also fell short on one in Boise in the cold.I have to imagine conditions played a role in it.
Kicking in a dome and not dealing with the elements has to be easier overall. Not just from the actual kicking but the snap and hold as well.
There was an actual Harvard study on it in for the NFL (Good to see those outrageous tuition costs are studying things that matter!)
'Not surprisingly, there is a strong association between kicking indoors and greater FG success. From distances of greater than 20 yards, being indoors is strongly associated with higher FG success. And the significance of this association appears to increase along with the length of the FG attempt.'
It did go on to say that after 50 yards there wasn't much difference. Having more to do with kickers leg strength. But from 20 yards to 49 yards significantly easier kicking in doors.
Wish we had a CBB coach that had some rizz and can do tv interviews on the regular. Hardly see anything media and promoting wise on the CBB side
My roommate saw the first fight. I didn’t pay attention.Fury weighed in at 281, 19 pounds more than he did in the first fight. I think Fury is going to lay on him and finish him with a 10 round KO.
Confirms Fertitta is sticking around. Good!2025 commit Yasir Muhammad appears to be staying a Rebel. This is a good keep.
They are, they said they want to be together. Also agreed, unless they REALLY miss home then we can’t afford them. They're likely a package deal and I'm not sure we could afford one of them.
Just stuff thrown at the wall.
I'd ask the writer; what connection does he have to Martyn? The branch bros were easy to connect because of Gorman but that's a pipe dream.
Just stuff thrown at the wall.I saw this article. Any validity to these players?
He has been on more media in the last 2 weeks than Odom would be on in a year. Every time you turn around you find another Mullen clip. This is what gets your name and image out to all the recruits that love video and social media!
Being from Hawaii, it would be a good connection with the 9th Island and also with playing Hawaii in Las Vegas next year.Him and his pop both liked my UNLV lock reply, if that means anything
Marion wanted to be a HC, that was always his goal.Kind of telling that Odom had 3 coordinators 2 were asked to follow him and one was not.
I do not buy that domed stadium crap. While I do not want to admit it, since he may be leaving, Chittenden set a field goal distance freshman record verse Oregon State in the rain
Him and his pop both liked my UNLV lock reply, if that means anything
