BSU SHOWDOWN

It's definitely not all bad. I think it can actually make it easier to overhaul a roster and win sooner, but it takes away some of what was special about the college game vs. pro game. The system now is even more unstable than professional leagues, since there aren't even really contracts and guys can change teams multiple times in 2-3 years.
So far a win win for UNLV. What could have been better than Sluka leaving?

Huge Crowd For Boise St Game.

The entire north side of section 200 has now been opened for ticket sales. My expectation is some of these tickets have been moved onto secondary ticket market sites for sale, and have not been sold yet, similar to what happened in section 100 before they added them back into the inventory. Unless they open the south side of the stadium section 200, and put back in the student seating sections that have not been added back for past games, we are most likely looking at a maximum of around 35K-36K seating. If added back, then we could have chance at around 40K
Any chance the crowd will reach 50K?

Let’s get a big crowd out there!!

17 Sections now open, they opened 2 sections on the other side of the corner endzone, i believe tomorrow they will have seats open thru at least the 20-30 yard line, so fans look like they are coming out, love it....The team deserves this, 6-1.
I believe over 35k will be in the house. By the way i still hate Reno
3 sections now open on the south side level 200

PRAY FOR ME

Oregon is famous for microbrews but not just IPA's. Some of the best grapes for Pinoit Noir and Merlot are grown here. Cab Sab wines are the best around also. I always love the microbrews with honey in Oregon. Not IPA's. That is just tourists stuff.

Bull, did you bought some Pine mushrooms? That mushroom which is also known as Matsutake mushroom is just awesome on a grill. This mushroom get ranked from #1 to #5 depends on how bloomed it is. I have taken #5 and grilled it...still delicious as anything I have ever tasted.

NIL money getting beyond ludicrous

This kid is possibly a generational talent. He is insane. Ryan Smith (Jazz, Utah hockey team, RSL owner) is a huge BYU fan and has the cash to make this happen. Mormon church could cut the check too, LOL. Their new coach, Kevin Young, is making quite a splash. Recruits are buying what he is selling. BYU could be scary good next year.

Neither do the Raiders, it’s owned by the LVSA.

How’d UNLV get a clause for 3 million a year? We had poor deal makers then.
Because we agreed to support the initiative to get the tax dollars to pay for it rather than have 2 stadiums and have them both fail in the legislature. We were aiming for a 300 million dollar taxpayer funded on campus stadium for at least 4 years before Raiders got involved. The LVSA was formed as the entity in order for the tax free status to be created. Its a confusing mess of accounting but basically without our support the stadium probably doesn't make it out of legislature. We get a pretty nice facility to use, but theres a lot we dont control.

Is the attendance reported by the schools the number of tickets that are sold for the game? Or the actual amount of people that come into the stadium?

Syracuse game was reported at 31,329, and the lower bowl wasn't totally sold out (guessing maybe 1000-1500 seats remaining), and the 200 sections weren't open.

So if the attendance is the same as syracuse, and then you add in the extra 1200 or so lower bowl seats, that would put it at around 32,500. The north 200 zones are said to have 3,900 seats. So if those sell out entirely, that would put it at 36,400 for attendance.

I don't see any way we get to 45k at this point, but if they were to open the south 200's and do them at a discounted rate, you could possibly get close to 40k.
It seemed like it was more packed than 32,500, but they didn’t announce the crowd size.

Reser Stadium/Oregon State game.

Been to quite a few stadiums in my time. I never understood the hate for SBS. When it got full, it was loud and a good college environment. For some reason people blamed the stadium instead of the admin for sucking ass.
My only complaint were the stadium seats.

I remember SBS pre-upgrades. The media box was a dump, carpet was torn up. I remember being in the last row in the south end and it was cold as shit in the Horton era, place was packed so it must have been Hortons first year at unlv.
