The most delusional fanbase

We've seen a lot of interesting takes on X lately to say the least....

It was suggested that Carmelo Anthony and Larry Johnson should be used to recruit Kiyan Anthony because Larry Johnson is a Knicks legend and Melo is a Knicks legend. That is one of the most farfetched things we've ever heard. We also saw a take that a sweet 16 appearance would be possible if Henley's 3p% was similar to his freshman year numbers. It is as simple as that.

A lot of people involved the athletic department and tied to the program see these things and laugh.

Commit -Cornelius Warren RB 2025

247/Rivals shows a commit on 7-15-2025 I guess we all missed this big time pick up for UNLV

Runs a 4.4 40 according to his page.

ESPN has him listed as the number 41 ranked RB and a 3* 78 ranking with the number 42 ranked RB going to Michigan

Out of Fort Worth Texas with a 247 composite rating of 0.8736 and a rivals rank of 5.7 being recruited by over a dozen program with a year still to go. Had offers from the following:

Arizona State
Arkansas
Baylor
Grambling State
Houston
Louisiana
Marshall
Memphis
Miami
North Texas
Ole Miss
Oregon
Oregon State
Texas State
Texas Tech
Utah
Utep
UTSA

Commit: Kal-El Togafau 6'3" DE

Another commit to UNLV over Colorado, Idaho, San Jose State and SDSU. Not sure if offer was still active for Colorado considering it was from October 2022 while all the other offers are from the last few months. Rivals has him as a 2* recruit. 247 has him as a 3* 85 recruit.

Vegas Golden Knights

Admittedly, I'm a casual fan at best. That being said, I love how engrained they are in the community. They seem to embrace Las Vegas while remaining out of trouble (correct me if I'm wrong since I haven't heard about any incidences).

How was the draft and how were the trades for the team? Net positive? Net decline? I know that it's tough to judge until next year's playoffs, but what are your thoughts?

I saw that we lost Logan Thompson, which is a name that I'm aware of. Did we keep the other goalie who helped us with the Cup?

Question for Rebel Fans

In our short time on X it has looked like there are quite a lot of disagreements in the community on sports topics and takes, but some of the exchanges seem very personal? We are not insiders there nor are we a hundred percent tuned into the basketball side of things. It seems like a lot of personal shots come out and arguments begin when basketball is discussed. We saw a discussion about Coach Odom getting a statue here in the future and some people freaked out. Can anyone break it down?
