He would likely be the first NFL coach to get curbstomped in the locker room after a loss.I don’t know if Deon’s antics would work in the NFL.
Get on the phone with Rich Rod's agent...Glad you brought up Cignetti.
The Indiana job is a tough one and look what he's done there.
There's no reason Odom couldn't flip a WVU around.
That's been my point all along.
Coaches are going to take jobs that are a good fit for them. But they all believe their 'system' will work.
Again I don't think this rumor has any legs at all. Oddly the WVU fan base appears to absolutely hate the idea of it. Some even would rather have Rich Rod back..
Take a look at it this way... If youre trying to talk silly money only offer... Does Odom take the job for a 2x pay bump- so roughly 4 million? IDK considering if we are being serious about extensions with our new cash flow were probably looking at a 3-3.5 range...
WVU is currently paying their coach 4 million, if you talk silly money then they offer 3x Odom's current salary- so 5.5-6 million, that'd put him pay wise on par with the top 4 paid coaches in the Big 12, and Im not saying a Big 12 school cant afford it, but thats a steep price to pay along with any buyouts on both sides. For record- last years top G5 coaches (Cignetti and Fritz) are currently making around the 4.5 million dollar mark...

Maybe, and he may prefer being a college coach. Would make a pretty penny there as well.I think he'd be more likely to take the FSU job.
Until Coach Prime goes to the Cowboys next season.
We only had 9 scholarship players available That's not really putting in the bench.. We saw 1 walk-on Yap's brother. Otherwise it was mostly the same rotation Kruger has used, with maybe Cotrell getting some extended minutes late.. We took our foot off the gas and we shouldnt have. Sorry, but even up by a lot, the team isnt good enough to think it can just throw the ball around and play lackadaisical defense. Maybe if they were constantly blowing teams out, then fine, but this team suffers from periods much like Kruger's other teams where they lose focus and lose leads. Teams arent just going to stop playing hard because were up by 15 with 5 to go.. It may sound stupid to say, but a closer win matters in RPI and net rankings. It also sends a message that we stay focused and play disciplined no matter how big the lead is, right up until we start putting in 3 or 4 walk ons...It was obvious that they also put in the bench once the game was out of reach.
Well, they just paid Dak 240 mil, so...Deion would say yes; so long as he can draft Shedeur.
The news comes from one twitter (X) account with 1,300+ followers. Hell I even had over 50K followers when I was active on twitter before being kicked off.Dammit!
WVU is very similar to Mizzou and Arkansas in terms of culture and fanbases. The money is probably there not just for Odom but for the entire staff.
This is real crappy news.
It was obvious that they also put in the bench once the game was out of reach.Happens in games like this sometimes. Tough to keep interest over the course when an opponent is that bad. Yeah, you hope they 50.
That’s a team that won’t win 10 this year. It’s a scrimmage that counts as a W.
Those are actions of JDSCoaches are just like doctors. "You lie and I'll swear to it."
No excuses, Menzies had his team focused the entire game in his blow out. Drai’s and Menzies let’s get them back together.Happens in games like this sometimes. Tough to keep interest over the course when an opponent is that bad. Yeah, you hope they 50.
