Well it sounds like he will be replaced by the radical responsible for the border train wreck.
That other handle doesn't allow me to see any of these message boards. Why did you change your handle, PT? Did Bull bans you?
Clark County did the same thing along the freeways by removing all of the homeless camps just before the Super Bowl. There is a really large homeless camp around the US95 where it passes over Sahara Avenue that magically was removed after years of residents complaints that live in the area, after the Super Bowl was gone they let the homeless move right back into the same area. Also the same thing happened along Flamingo and Tropicana where they did the same thing. It is always about the optics!Just like they did when that one Asian country leader arrived 1 year ago or so (?). The city was miraculously clean and safe. It was a modern miracle!
Why did you change your handle, PT? Did Bull bans you?If they can pay the WNBA team with our tax dollars then couldn't they pay the state subsidized (with our tax dollars) University to further promote the brand?
This UNLV team is too experienced for most teams that have new HC. If any opponent step out onto the field with self doubts, it might be a long day. UNLV's schedule is tough this year but if you looks, it is very favourable schedule. So they will all go 0-12 because they have new coaches?
That is alright, I'll take a kid that moves like that at that size any day of the week and twice on Sunday. The offer from CU was not active and we were told he wasn't a take at another school that he wanted to commit to.
LJ recruiting for UNLV is funny. If Tark and Grg were still on the coaching staff I could see him doing that - otherwise that is a pipedream. We've seen a lot of interesting takes on X lately to say the least....
It was suggested that Carmelo Anthony and Larry Johnson should be used to recruit Kiyan Anthony because Larry Johnson is a Knicks legend and Melo is a Knicks legend. That is one of the most farfetched things we've ever heard. We also saw a take that a sweet 16 appearance would be possible if Henley's 3p% was similar to his freshman year numbers. It is as simple as that.
A lot of people involved the athletic department and tied to the program see these things and laugh.
You haven't missed yet. However, recruiting is so dynamic I never hold any insider to 100% accuracy. We are betting on it and we do have specific news. See you on signing day.
must be Lori Harrigan - she is a force for sureThe director of security of the hotel I used to work at had three gold medals as a softball pitcher, 96, 2000, and 04. She is a UNLV alumni. Awesome person. She was built different.
Just like they did when that one Asian country leader arrived 1 year ago or so (?). The city was miraculously clean and safe. It was a modern miracle! There wasn’t a Japan 2020 Olympics in 2020, it was canceled and reschedule for 2021 back in Japan. All the merchandise and signage still displayed 2020 though. 2028 summer Olympics will be in LA, maybe they’ll clean the city up 😂
If they can pay the WNBA team with our tax dollars then couldn't they pay the state subsidized (with our tax dollars) University to further promote the brand?I did mean the Las Vegas Convention and visitors authority (LVCVA). If UNLV gets back to a national level, I wouldn't put it beyond possibility that they could get involved or other casinos if they think it could lead to an increase in tourism through playing top level teams in Las Vegas in the future.
Agree. For me it really all hinges on how good the new QBs are going to be. Nobody knows. It seems like most here think Sluka is going to be the next coming of Johnny Manziel when he could turn out to be Kurt Palandech 2.0. Like Brewer mentioned in his article there is a big difference between optimistic and realistic.I think these aren't unachievable goals at all. I think we at least have the horses to compete I every game this season.
But still hard to predict. I think going 6-6 is just as likely as 9-3.
Last season was great. But it was a pretty easy schedule. Didn't have great showings against the better teams. Air Force was without their QB and beat player. Boise and SJSU beat us pretty convincingly. Wyoming was probably our best win against a quality opponent. And they were a lower tier bowl level team.
Expecting to improve so much we are playoff contenders? Doable, but probably not likely.
I am suspicious of how good Boise will be. Utah State and Fresno losing coaches so close to the season has got to be tough for those teams.
Teams like Houston or Oregon State are very hard to predict. They could be kinda bad to pretty good.
you have that much faith in CKK?? Does our squad look that promising? or maybe something else?Moving down is very simple.
But it’s a good time to buy, tbh. Its a make or break year, might be a good time to find seats you want and lock them in.

I forgot about that game didn’t JT have a similar game against Arkansas? Wow AR State that must have been a small town.Arkansas State about 6 years ago. Armani’s arm was awful, though he ran well. Ark State fans weren’t happy, they didn’t expect a battle. And the snagged they W late but you could feel it coming.
I would say highly unlikely anyway. Not having a single down game? Not one all season? Tough chore. Usually you can survive a down game by out talenting the opposition but we aren’t THAT good. If we go the same record as last year I will consider it an excellent season especially with the better competition.I think these aren't unachievable goals at all. I think we at least have the horses to compete I every game this season.

lol sounds like he had a great game which one was that? Was that Arkansas? I remember JT had a game like that before we lost it on a punt.I went on one I expected to win but our QB decided to throw for 20 yards, 5 completions and 3 interceptions in a 7 point road loss.
I agree it can get them on a roll and really jump start ticket sales!I think a win at Houston could bring enough excitement to open up the next level for ticket sales in some games. It already looks like the Syracuse game is bringing in a big crowd from out of town and will easily sell out the lower section with wins in the games prior to Syracuse.
The bigger the crowds and the more fans that visit from other schools, the more the value in the program will be seen by the LVAC!
No doubt Boise won easily, but SJSU was a six point loss where the main difference was a key turnover. UNLV put themselves in a hole in the first quarter and was down 17-0 which was a problem in numerous games where UNLV offense had a slow start much of the time due to bad calls by Maiava. While he did help bring the team back, I felt like he put them in the hole in the first place. From the 2nd quarter on UNLV outscored SJSU 24-20, but only scoring 10 points in the first half ended up being too much to overcome. Watching Maiava in the last four games of the season I really felt like he took a step backwards but was lucky enough to come back verse AF. The last 3 games put UNLV in deep holes in the first half that they could come back from, so hopefully we have a QB this time around that is more consistent.I think these aren't unachievable goals at all. I think we at least have the horses to compete I every game this season.
