Assistants

They have to get some guidelines to save the game. Cap limit?? It think the best thing they can do is grant more eligibility so the talent is more spread out. Especially for the non P-4 schools. So maybe a player will stay another year or transfer to one once they play their 4 years at a p-4 school. I dont see how this can keep up.
Yep I agree and if not the big schools will kill off the sport.

Mason Abittan

Is there room for him without him being demoted to the non-recruiting assistant role? We have Garson, Hawkins, and Wilkins all confirmed for the main three
I know Garson is tabbed to be the the AHC. I would assume that Wilkins would be one of the recruiting coaches. I'm not sure if JHawk will be doing here, but he was director of player development at UNR which was a not an off-site recruiting position.

Facilities played a large role in Mullins decision.....

Interesting with some of these interviews, Meyer basically said that Mullen was the defacto OC at Bowling Green and Utah, but was too young for that title. Sanford had that title, and apparently "developed that offense with Meyer".

I wonder where the truth really is. It is possible that Meyer is talking up his buddy to some degree.

I thought Sanford's offenses were pretty good here. Defense was the issue. And the locker rooms of course ;)

MWC & PAC Mediation Discussion for Poaching & Exit Fees

I dont think its a simple as "add anyone"... thats a leverage play because they are being leveraged. TxSt knows the Pac 12 needs them. So the Pac 12 uses media to push narrative that it doesn't really matter who they add, there's 0 value increase.. However, we know that's false. They haven't released any details of their media deal that was supposedly close and there hasn't been any movement since. I get waiting for mediation and Texas St. doesnt have to do anything. Why would you join a conference that doesnt value you when the MWC offered you a full share. Getting a partial share to play in a conference where you have no future seems like a death wish especially when youre holding all the cards

You may be right but let's say right now media partner tells the PAC it's 10 million, adding UNLV isn't pushing that deal to 12 million.

On the other hand an NMSU might actually decrease the payout to each school if given a full share because they add nothing due to brand/market size.
