Love it. Reverse jinx! This could be a sign that Peery is staying on in a role as assistant. Between Pape, Bannabie, Jones staying committed and now Mason recommitment... which would be a really good keep
"Mason recommitment"? Where is this? This could be a sign that Peery is staying on in a role as assistant. Between Pape, Bannabie, Jones staying committed and now Mason recommitment... which would be a really good keep
Twitter and Instagram..."Mason recommitment"? Where is this?
Is there room for him without him being demoted to the non-recruiting assistant role? We have Garson, Hawkins, and Wilkins all confirmed for the main threeThis could be a sign that Peery is staying on in a role as assistant. I know Garson is tabbed to be the the AHC. I would assume that Wilkins would be one of the recruiting coaches. I'm not sure if JHawk will be doing here, but he was director of player development at UNR which was a not an off-site recruiting position. Is there room for him without him being demoted to the non-recruiting assistant role? Thanks. I thought Hawkins was one of the main assistants at UNR.I know Garson is tabbed to be the the AHC. I would assume that Wilkins would be one of the recruiting coaches. Doesn't shoot a lot of threes, his stats vs Gorman were great. 6'8" guard, Evans, Mason are tall too. With great coaching we might match up vs those Big East schools at the guard. Young but tall it should be fun to watch.Tyrin Jones has re-committed as well
The three main assistants for UNR are Noodles Neal, Nate Dixon, and Bill Duany.Thanks. I thought Hawkins was one of the main assistants at UNR.
You can have 5 assistants. But there are three "main" assistants who can recruit off-site, and the other two are considered "non-recruiting" assistants who can coach but can't recruit off-siteWith everything changing I have no idea how many assistants a program can have but i do Know UNC has 5 assistant coaches. So if Pastner has Garson, Wilkins, Hawkins, and Peery he could still bring in one more if he wanted. Then he could also bring in GA's if he wanted also. Dont know if that is his plan or not but a possibility
