If you ask any Syracuse fan today, they would love a home-home with UNLV. Perspectives are changing with UNLV as a football school. Man, that hurts as I typed it.

Purdue is a tough place to win with their academic standards and while their resources dwarf ours, they are dwarfed by OSU, Oregon, Michigan etc.

On their fan site, their fans haven’t been impressed with Odom’s recruiting and ability to keep their top players in the program. Couple things, it’ll be interesting to see how Odom does when facing a more talented team as he was 2-8 vs top 50 teams at unlv. At unlv, it seemed like he had a better staff. Hiring Henson as a OC was a head scratcher, wonder if Odom was turned down to be on his staff. I don’t think it’ll be a good stint at Purdue, again tough place to win but the move was about $$$, make no mistake about it.

But it looks to me that starting in the 4th year we will most likely look back and think being in the "MWC light" was a bad move. And each year it goes on will make it worse.
