Got this in the wrong thread. It’s the basketball game here at T-Mobile.
Many missed opportunities to put away Boise in that game. Another reason I like our chances. Beat Reno and put it all on the table in Boise. If we don’t pull it out well then we don’t deserve a playoff spot anyway. The one thing, that nobody talks about against Boise St.
Was, when Hajj Williams ran that 71 yards in the 1st quarter and we didn't score a TD.
UNLV, was on the 3 yard line, first and goal. And, settled, for a field goal.
UNLV, needed that TD. Yes, it was early in the game, but that determined the outcome of things to come.
You, need all the TD's, you can get.
Those bastards.I'm not as optimistic. I'm thinking 22. Those bastards.
How they're supposed to develop rankings...Its clear this committee likes Tulane better then some want to think. If Tulane wins out they beat out Unlv
Agree with thisIts clear this committee likes Tulane better then some want to think. If Tulane wins out they beat out Unlv
Its clear this committee likes Tulane better then some want to think. If Tulane wins out they beat out UnlvOur path to the CFP is simple:
- Beat Reno
- Beat Boise
- Need Tulane to lose to either Memphis or Army
Our path to the CFP is simple:Number 22 currently.
That’s another part of my concern… ‘looking at ‘3 win teams’ does not tell the whole story. It might, if they were blow out losses, that’s not the case…Reno sucks... they just lost a game where Air Force didn't complete a single pass. They're terrible. Super Bowl or not, they gave up 300 yards rushing to a 3 win team...
Sorry, I don't remember...Missed the study. Can you post a link?
I don’t see UNC one of those perpetually open jobs. The UNC job just opened up...
FanDuel almost always offers a buyout on parlays or futures that I have seen but for some reason not on the UNLV to make the playoffs future I have. Halfway considering a hedge bet on Boise vs us in the title game to cash out half but don’t think I have the stomach to bet against us even as a hedge.is that really a thing???? I have the app. I just won 3500$ on a 7 teamer. alot of luck ,but the last game was Monday night . I dont know where i could have gotten the buyout. I put up 1300 to hedge it incase i lost. Luckly i bought 1.5 points and tied it on the hedge. Got the 3500 plus the 1300 i invested so NET 3500$ . I might have cashed out before the Sunday night game. I dont bet that much. Maybe 100-250 a month MAX!! That is just during UNLV- NFL season.
I wouldn't count on more than 55 mil in exit fees.We are still getting the almost $90 million in exit fees.
I don't see us losing this lawsuit. They are saying that the Agreement violated anti-trust agreements by hurting their competition. There is nothing in the Agreement that said they couldn't do what they did. They could have merged so how does that hurt their competition. They could re-build the Pac-12 which they chose to do. We didn't try to stop them. All the Agreement said is if you (re-build) by taking MW teams that you have to pay a Termination Fee based on the number of schools taken. They agreed to that. They didn't have to sign the agreement. But they did. Now when it comes time to pay they are making excuses. F'em.
Missed the study. Can you post a link?I don't think that you're being selfish at all. I think that there's something to be said for Coach Odom seeing the success he's having here and the satisfaction of building a nationally recognized strong program. It reminds me of when Tark came to town. But, be forewarned, the administration and boosters are going to have to step up and reward him for the job that he's doing. BTW, did you see the study that UNLV did which showed that UNLV's football contributes $100 million to the local economy? Is the timing just a coincidence?
Love this idea. Sure hope that happens for him. He’s been a team guy and never bitched (at least not publicly) about being passed over. Also, it would be nice to let a guy like Friel finish his playing career on the field. I REALLY hope we're in a position to let him run things for a while.
