CBS Sports video on PAC-12 expansion that mentions UNLV

USF likely not in mix. Travel expenses would be insane. Logistics are brutal.

UTSA doesn't have a ton of money so buyout/exit fee could be problematic.

A lot of the dollar totals being thrown around are pretty speculative.

I've been guilty of throwing them around myself.

We'll see.

Hoping for best expecting the worst.

Not sure what AAC can do to keep Memphis or Tulane.

9 million a year TV deal a lot to leave on the table.
I am not sure there would be a huge difference in cost between Tampa (USF) and Memphis in regards to flying out west to play teams in the PAC. Both would need to spend millions in additional funds between all their different teams. Travelling to Washington State, Oregon State, Boise State, Fresno State and StDSU will all be long trips. The PAC should have been named the NWPAC! Can you imagine the cost to go from Tampa to Eugene to play Oregon State (3000+ miles) or Memphis 2270+ miles)

Snooty Predators

Shifting gears a bit, I'm sure you all will be glued to the set tonight (7PM Pacific, 3-0 WSU vs 3-0 SJSU in Pullman, The CW network). Game is apparently a near sellout. Friday night in Pullman, the fans will be juiced. Worth watching simply to see all the coed camera shots. Looks like the marquee game for the MW this weekend. You guys and SDSU both have byes I guess?
These cameras suck... it feels like watching HS football.

Yes, I am surprised Memphis doesn't want to get 17 Million dollars. They, are 50/50.
Memphis, is the key here. If, Memphis doesn't go. Then, good chance Tulane stays in the AAC to.
I'm hoping Memphis stays and then Tulane stays. For me I want UNLV to bounce to the AAC. I have a feeling that is the best thing we can do for our future. The AAC would be awesome. Sure the travel will be an issue but Lady Rebel basketball and Football will thrive. Time to move on. From the WAC not wanting us for many years to the PAC not wanting us now I am so sick of the West coast nonsense. I'm ready. Go Rebels.

Grass ain’t always greener!

Jerrae Williams…BACKUP safety for Washington State….has zero stats this year, despite a lot snaps in the first two games. AND now out for the season with ANOTHER Injury. SMH

Jayden Maiava…BACKUP at USC, just made news for being the first Polynesian QB to take a snap at USC….however, it was just clean up duty in a 48-0 blowout…and to make matters worse, his teammates cheered him on like he was the Down Syndrome guy that got in the game and made a layup while the defense pretended to guard him.

Gotta think a few guys are realizing they effed by leaving.

I despise being a fence sitter.

But..

I think it's 50-50.

I'm pulling for AAC to circle wagons somehow to keep Memphis and Tulane.
