Oh Lordy.Bryan Harsin
Proven winner at this (G5) level.
But then we have to deal with his crap. He's a native son in Boise and they don't like him much up there

Now that would be cool.Boise getting into the AP poll at 2-1 looks ridiculous but that's how AP rolls I guess... personally that's going to be an excellent opportunity for College GameDay to come to Vegas in October when we both square off as ranked teams
Dated facilities? Their facilities are on par with any in the MWC..Absolutely not... Wyoming is going to spiral. Losing longtime HC that established their culture, dated facilities, poor travel to and market exposure... they're great MWC school, not so much if you're building a new conference

I couldn't say with certainty that they have a vote. Are they then technically an affiliate member. I'm sure Colorado College and Washington State as affiliate member don't have a vote. You may be right. Wouldn't that be funny if Washington State had a vote just because they have their baseball and swim team in the MW.That is only if Hawaii gets a vote, and I am fairly certain they do not have a vote.
He's my number 1 on the list with Chris Peterson a near 2nd... they don't need to do the full rebuild, just come in, and keep things goingGary Patterson?
But if you just got 120 million dollars from the departure of 4 teams, you kick 5 million to Montana easy... I'm not familiar with NDSUs current stadium/infrastructure to do so, but Montana absolutely has the facilities and are currently constructing a huge indoor football practice facility. Plus their fans are amazing for a small level school. They could easily transition.Remember if we are talking about a rebuild of the MW. FCS teams have to pay a 5 mil fee for moving up.
I think you start with UTEP and NMSU those are the easy ones. Those would be cheaper and they are arguably better right now.
Maybe UTSA but the AAC would have to blow up for that to work. Same with UNT or Rice.
But I would favor an AAC merger if they get blown up. CUSA maybe too. Keeping things regional will help a lot.
What current HC would UNLV be in the market to poach, lol... I mean maybe current soon to be former, like 100% I'd call Napier if he was available after Florida cans him and if we had an opening...
I'd be down for that. He left a consulting role at Baylor prior to this season starting.Gary Patterson?
You got all of 'em.Probably the best team with Houston in its name.
Houston, Sam Houston, Houston Christian (formerly Houston Baptist)... is there a Houston State?
Also: this was a great response, so thanks for that 🤣
I hate it for them, but if the conference chips were redistributed based on the parameters we currently use for realignment, they would be in the Big Sky or something. If the MWC doesn't crumble, they would be a really good anchor. But only if supported locally at current level or greater. Those fans care about that program, and it's pretty cool actuallyAbsolutely not... Wyoming is going to spiral. I think technically that is play. I just think it is nearly impossible for it to happen. I don't think the SOS would get there high enoughI know it has nothing to do with them, but from what I understand the 4 highest ranked conference champions get the first four spots. While not likely, it would be possible for the MWC to have one of the 4 highest spots, or does that exclude the group of 5 conferences?
Meh. I think where our programs differ is that for us as UNLV fans, this is uncharted territory. For BSU, it isn't about knocking off average P4 teams. They historically have cashed in on bigger cash ins regularly for 15-20 years. I love that we cashed in twice this year. Keep doing it and leave no doubt.Yea two P4 wins beats a P4 loss with no P4 wins 100% of the time.

Wyoming. Great facilities and a winning football program and bowling 4 of the last 5 years.
