Talked to one of the people from the UNLV athletic department, and she told me that the firemen/policemen last year bought 400 tickets as a group, and that for this next season that has increased to 1,000 tickets. They also said season ticket sales are looking really good. I look forward to the final numbers.
Practice was mostly light so really will not get a read out of how the team is doing.
Devante Boyd did play in the practice game.
Big news for number 33 Dalton Baker who is out of Bishop Gorman (who red shirt his first year and played last season) is getting a scholarship for this season. They showed it on the big board at the end of the practice game. The rest of his team want crazy!
