Since we won at the Pit? Really encouraging to see the players on a Rebel team basketball team improving as the year goes on. At the first of the year we all had our doubts about Mooring but he is really turning into a very nice point guard. I will even go so far as to say Rice might still be here if he had someone of his caliber at the point.
Dembele is improving by leaps and bounds. As soon as he figures out that when he is within 3 feet of the bucket he just needs to go up and slam it he is really going to be special. The team defense is really starting to come along as well.
I am really perplexed by the shots that Poyser and Ochefegbu take on the fast break. It's like they go brain dead and feel like they have to try and take it to the bucket no matter how how many defenders are in their way. If Menzies can correct this my hat is off to him.
They have battled through injuries and illness and seem to be coming out on the other side a tougher and more resilient team.
