Lucas Lenhoff has joined the team as a walk-on. Threw for 7766 yards and 82 touchdowns in three full seasons as a starter. Also took a post-grad year and threw for 1700 yards and 20 touchdowns while splitting time with 2 other qbs.

What's the thought on him? Just being added for depth? Looking to have any sort of impact on this season?
Depth piece for sure. He's definitely behind Maiava, Friel, and Bo.
We have used like 3 QBs at one point in each of the past several seasons... So you never know... Hopefully not, but hey SDSU ran a starting CB out there after injuries and he won 6 games...
While he's not going to help us on Saturdays, these are the kinds of players that we need. Walk-ons scrimmage against our starters and allow for our players to go full speed in practice.
