Personally, I am excited for this season. I think we will be a winning program and improve and potentially make the tournament. There are some stories in here as well. DJ Thomas coming on. Contrell starting to play for us. Jalen Hill back in Vegas. The boone twins hopefully making that impact we see from them. There is talent on this team I have not seen in many years. The schedule is soft enough to make some easy wins there allow us to develop chemistry for us.

I watched SDSU vs Fullerton the other night. I just think they are well coached and have a culture of defense better than most. looking at things from a business perspective we need to examine how the better programs have achieved success and what they did to make things work. Think of things in "best practices" examination. There is a team in D2 Bellermine university that is well coached and plays exceptional basketball. I saw a video breaking them down and how they they work it. They played washington recently and it was tough challenging game for them. They had the highest number of assists per team and passes per halfcourt possession. I might be wrong on the assist stat but they pass the ball a lot. In this time of dribble drive success its an anomaly to see so much passing.

Anyway, curious how many here are going to the game tonight.

10/25/23 games at 8 pm, Celtics vs Knicks. Celtics picked to win the East along with Milwaukee Bucks. Good game between the Knicks and Celtics.

Not sure how much to put into this ranking but UNLV is ahead teams such as BYU, TCU, Arkansas, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and Michigan St. I never thought I would see a ranking system where UNLV would be ranked higher than some of those teams. Keep of the great work Rebels!!!

I was wearing my Rebel robe at the bar and I took it off at halftime annd went to the bathroom and the Rebels went to shit. most of the 3 fans that tuned in at the bar left at the 4th I put it back on in the 4th quarter and we made a comeback.

Fantastic season!! I know there was a dude named Worthen who recorded basketball games. Hoping someone would do the same.

With Fresno winning over BSU it leaves UNLV and Fresno State in second behind Air Force. It looks like UNLV can control their own destiny. Win out and UNLV could end up playing FSU in a rematch conference championship at FSU!

It’s rare that UNLV gets something right and when they do, it might take a long while.

Hiring our ST Coach is, in my opinion, why we are faring better this season.

He’s one of the best in the nation (I anticipate that he will be hired away after this season) and puts us in positions to win and succeed.

Without our great field positions and great ST’s play (kicking in particular), we may have two extra losses under our belt.

This is a good article. Some discussions on possible scheduling alliance. It would make sense as long as we can get some commitment for the long term. However, it's still up in the air until the Pac-2 get control of the conference which a court hearing will be happening in the next 3 weeks.
