Whaley status

I treat a good amount of spines. I have been a part of the biggest individual physical therapy spine study in the country.

I have seen a lot of backs. He didn't look good at the Riverside game I went to, and he did look like he has put on weight.

It's tough for a guy like Rob in terms of weight. When you can't exercise and you are a big dude anyway, its tough NOT to gain weight when your back acts up. He is probably used to running all of the time, lifting all of the time. Stop that, you are going to gain weight.

Of course the extra weight put more load on the back.

I don't think he is faking it. I have seen dudes fake. I saw him react to being bumped when he didn't see it coming.
He probably using the wheel treadmill that you put on the floor that old people don’t use.

If I’m on scholarship, I gain as much food and eat the entire food bar upstairs at UnLV.

Watching the UNM-SDSU game. Looks like a sellout for UNM.

Makes it evident how far we’ve fallen from where we used to be.

It’s awesome football has taken such a step up, but I miss the environment of a full (or semi full) T&M this time of year.

The end of the year will be the time to make a change. Hopefully Harper can keep his hot streak going with hires.
I wouldn't say it's a hot streak. We've gone from an NCAA Tournament Volleyball appearance to not even making it into the MWC Tournament. I'll give it another season but, I don't like what I'm seeing.

edit: Should have mentioned that Harper hired the latest VB coach.

CDM Era: Transfer Portal and Recruits Thread

I don't understand the criticism. He did more for the Rebels than any other recent coach in a total of two years.

I'm not speaking for Rosegreen. But words should have meaning.

'Legacy' seems a bit much.

Impact..Sure..

Legacy...Seems like you need a little more. Like a third year and conference title.

Players and coaches officially signed

The thing that makes me optimistic is look where we are getting players from. Our list isn’t composed of transfers from South Dakota State.

Oops. Too soon?
I tried fishing earlier but "he" didn't bite.
Meister - did I miss an insult from you? Damn. :( Probably not as biting as being called a "whiny little bitch" on my board. I think you ought to go over there and post the list of recent UNLV signees from above and ask if UNLV meets our metrics yet. (Edit - f-it I'm going to post the list. Feel free to wade in. And don't respond to "UberCougs". He is a complete dipshit who clearly has a lot of time on his hands.) I promised to stop ragging over there about our all-SDSU coaching staff (it's complete now) and almost all SDSU transfers and signees. Here's a quote from a new HS SDSU transfer/signee from some map dot in Kansas:

"I am a physical receiver with great ball skills and great yards after catch ability," Pabst told CF.C. "I don't let the first guy make the tackle. I feel like I always gotta make a move and get up field and always see the whole field."

He is pretty fond of himself, eh?

Too bad we have to suffer through this season with no hope!
