National Signing Day

Our depth at edge and LB is absolutely CRAZY.

We have one OL signing I believe, I don’t know anything about him but I would agree that that will be more of an emphasis in the portal. We did very well the last two years there, it all starts in the trenches.

Also one underrated aspect of this class, is speed. Some of the signees are track guys and run near 4.3. They have the tools and just need to get in the gym and be coached up.

Great class.

Keeping Odom.

Arkansas intends to retain Sam Pittman so that's good.

Here's a list off the top of my head of P5 job openings as of today and what type of threat they might pose.

UNC- This is a job if they came knocking would worry me. But I think they go a different direction. I think the Tulane HC might be in play here. Also the Liberty coach could be in play. He's very familiar with the area. Dan Mullen another to watch for.

WVU- Does not concern me the way UNC job does. Programs been stuck in neutral for awhile.

UCF- Malzahn just stepped down, which was a huge favor to UCF as there is no buyout. UCF was paying Malzahn 5 million a year. They've been solid in the past. Florida is a great recruiting ground. I might actually put UCF above WVU in terms of concern if they came knocking. But in some ways feels like an odd fit for some reason.

Purdue- Hit about rock bottom this year. That would be another complete rebuild to undertake. I'd say no, but, Cignetti's success at Indiana shows you can get it done at mid tier P4 schools.

Am I missing any other P4 job openings?
Not now , but there are usually 8-10.

National Signing Day

9 signings per UNLV Football this morning. I don’t know much about any of them as recruits, but several 3 Star rankings per their bios.
Well in the past we would sign 3 stars (a few) ,but most of them had small DIV 1 schools or D2 after them. NOW some big schools attached to them. Imagine if we were in the P4 conferences. What this staff could do and the talent would increase.
