USC vs Nebraska

To show that he’s special, the Vandy He also wasn’t very good in our biggest games, 4 of the last 5 or so to end the season.

Omar Clayton had some great games, too. That didn’t make him NFL bound.

Listen, overall, he was very good for us, especially as a freshman.

But special and NFL? Sorry, I’m not seeing it.

And you know that I’m always big on toughness and mentality. Um…. He wasn’t strong there either.
I think Omar would thrive in this system

Csu has 3 losses, and would have a 4th if we ended up tying for 2nd in the mw (and we win out) I can't see any scenario where they would be picked ahead of us in the MW championship game

MIA???

Maybe I’m an old fogy. But I don’t understand that when Whaley doesn’t play, someone should report on it. Ask questions. He is hurt.. ok when do we expect him back? How bad is the injury? So Whiting didn’t play.. hurt? Benched? Evans is out.. redshirted, no questions about why? Such a secret quiet program. Such a shame. Wasting away a once proud glamorous, exciting program. No excuse for it. It’s disgusting to a guy like me who has seen us play almost every game since before the Convention Center. My attendance is on thin ice. The T&M atmosphere is atrocious..
They said on the broadcast that Whaley has been dealing with a back problem all year. Probably why his minutes have been down too. He was ruled out before the game.
Whiting has some sort of foot/ankle injury as they said he was in a boot and out for last game.
But yes, odd that this stuff isn't reported on anymore.
Like why was Pape and Barnarbie absent in gane one?

Big impact games this weekend

My biggest point was supposed to be that Fresno playing poorly is still better than their last 4 or maybe 5 opponents. I never circle back around to it 🤣
Maybe the motivation of knocking them out will help Fresno. We should have someone hack the CSU players social media accounts and start insulting the FSU players Moms.

Watched Maryland vs Marq last night. Everything is done much quicker on both offense and defense. They did run lots of the same stuff we do. The difference is they have guys who can get to the hole strong. Only DJ can do that for us, and he cannot really attack the rim great with his short height and not that great of leaping ability.

I do not think we are so far behind in athletes. We are far behind in doing things with authority.

Omaha ranked 280 won bye 12 at home? Alabama St 253 won bye 14 at home? I don't know if it's the lack of urgency , no killer instinct or that We are just soft. Maybe all 3?

Forgot 'Just not that talented'. They aren't scrubs but with the exception of Dedan none of them would be locks to start for any top 40 team. Imo I think the softness or lackadaisical effort is a problem for most teams these days. Kids are just raised and coached differently.

UNLV Men's basketball has become mostly a niche sport at UNLV. For the few that remember the glory days to the new that just like watching men's basketball. The sport is mostly just taking away the use of the T&M from more lucrative events such as concerts. Men's basketball needs a new smaller home so we can utilize the T&M to make some real money. They can keep CKK just move the sport to another venue.

That pretty much sums up how I feel about CKK, the apathetic AD, and men's basketball at UNLV. Hard to believe at one time that I was paying as much as $2500 for two seats and now I can barely stand to watch them on the TV.

Line ‘em up: Predictions and Game Thread SDSU

I think UNLV will be ready to play. My expectation is 45-14.

Too bad that the crows will be on the smaller side in comparison to the BSU game. I hope to see in the low thirties at this game, but if they can win this game and at SJSU, I could see the unr game with a crowd in the mid to upper thirties. If CSU loses a game prior to UNLV playing unr, then I could see a crowed of 40K, but unfortunately the chance for UNLV to be in the MWC championship game is no longer in the hands of UNLV!

Whils I don't disagree they are peaking at the right time, I also think they have benefitted from a Charmin schedule. Their winning streak started with SJSU. Then AFA, UNM, UNR, and Wyo.

Those are literally the 4 worst teams in the conference.

Boise could beat them by 50 if they needed to.
You are mixing the words, but really writing the same thing I wrote. I have no doubt that BSU will blow them out.
