Tony Sanchez and NMSU were up 24-7 over our future conference mates and proceeded to end up with a big "L". UTEP 42 NMSU 35.

Metrics: Playing a weak Reno team this week, it appears that UNLV had larger home game attendance this week than Boise, WSU, SDSU, Colorado State and Fresno. WSU led the way with approximately 17,000 paid attendance for their inspirational loss to Wyoming.

We're going to be talking about this year's team for decades, like they do about the 90-91 basketball team. I don't care what professional team these seniors go to, I'm cheering for all of them individually.

Michigan upset #2 Ohio State, this will drop Ohio state, and push Boise up.

Syracuse upset #6 Miami, this changes the math on our loss, and possibly moves them up to a mid 20's ranking

#15 South Carolina upsets #12 Clemson, there is a very small possibility that UNLV will be ranked over Clemson. Never thought I would see the day.

Memphis upsets #17 Tulane, which possibly adds Memphis to the rankings, and drops Tulane out.
-more importantly, this crucial victory paves the way for UNLV for the playoffs.

Wyoming upsets WSU, helps the "MW metrics". Sorry to our WSU guests here, but this one is pretty bad. If it makes you feel better, SJSU just beat Stanford.

Air Force crushes SDSU. "metrics".

Baylor crushes Kansas. I was hoping for an upset here to help us on the strength of schedule, but Kansas put in good work for us last week.

It'll be interesting to see what the CFP committee does... the field in front of us is stacked with a bunch of teams that can't make the CFP. Do they move us up ahead of a few of these teams...

Just realized that’s the last time Ricky will play at home for UNLV. Thanks to all the other seniors that put in the work to represent UNLV this season and turning this program around on a dime.

We were sitting by the reno section. By far the bulk of the stadium was in red. This has to have been our largest “home” crowd ever.

I’m betting we spark some commitments for the recruits that were at this one. That was a fun and loud stadium home crowd tonight.
