Jarvis Basnight is the coolest name ever imo and it's not even a nickname. 'Jarvis' is already cool by itself but 'Basnight' puts it over the top.

UNLV got a few in the past like Jermaine "Sunshine" Smith, Boobie James, H Waldman.
Other schools have them too: Boogar McFarland, "Skip to my Lou", Bonzi Wells (Ball State that nearly beat UNLV in 1990)
Wyoming Coach may take the cake: Sundance Wicks. Hot dang. Who can beat that?

Big12 has to be laughing at that suggestion of adding UCONN for football only.
I’d rather add Sam Houston State (which would fit the pac-state mold, oddly enough).

I think and @Jason Kelly said this in his podcast yesterday, there is a huge lack of trust and therefore UNLV is hesitant to enter an agreement with them. We know the MWC brand, the leadership, etc... assuming they're upfront with..

Agree. It's going to be pretty hard to sue your way out of an agreement like that which was put in place specifically to prevent this exact scenario. I'm no legal expert but that would seem like pretty basic partnering agreement. You don't F with us, you don't owe us anything.. You F with my buisness and you owe me a lot...
