Former Mullen recruit at Florida I believe. Doesnt appear to have played much.
What do you see in Ochoa? Think he has a better shot of playing if he follows Marion to Sac State.Ochoa needs backups.
Was he recruited by Mullen at Florida? Had a pretty good year in 2022 for the first time as a starter in SEC and then hasnt played since really. Guess he spent 2 years at Oregon as a backup and didnt play?
I read the same rankings, and while Oregon State was ahead of UNLV, Washington State wasn't. On 247 UNLV has an average ranking of 85.23 with 14 recruits (this includes 2 unranked players), and Washington State has an average of 84.81 with 23 recruits.No. I saw the rankings before Odom departed. They and OSU were both ranked ahead of us. We were ahead of BSU as well.
And true the rankings have to be adjusted now when coaches leave and commits bail.
They were D1 from 1917 to 2017, they never were FCS until 2018.I’d throw in Idaho. They struggled so much that they went back to FCS.
No. I saw the rankings before Odom departed. They and OSU were both ranked ahead of us. We were ahead of BSU as well. That is because they had a lot more recruits after UNLV lost 5-7 to Odom, and there are also 3 UNLV recruits that currently do not have a ranking which artificially lowers the class ranking. Look at the top 10 and UNLV has far better players. UNLV has multiple 5.6 and 5.7 ranked players, Wazzu has zero 5.7 ranked players.
I’d throw in Idaho. They struggled so much that they went back to FCS.Historically that isn't true. There have been a few exceptions, but typically FCS team making the jump struggle. Most of them are near the top of FCS before they make the jump and all of them have jumped to much easier conferences. The MW will be bad, but I don't think it will be Sun Belt and C USA bad.
the one not listed here is the most recent call up Kennessaw St which went 2 -10 this year
How Have Former FCS Teams Performed After Transitioning To The FBS?
Here are the teams that have jumped to the FBS since 2008 and their records as FBS programs for each season.herosports.com

Per On3 their recruiting class was a lot better than ours. Per the ranking.
You could build a team on these players if you had a coach who could coach up the players. Ask Odom how much better the same players that Arroyo recruited got with good coaching. But ok isn’t good enough. You can’t have one good player and the rest as non-decript guys that could start in the lower MWC or ride pine in the upper MWC. We have a lot of players that do one thing pretty well but are shockingly bad at the other 6 parts of the game. You can’t build a team on those guys. We do.
Remember, we’re going to need at least 2 QB’s. I doubt this is “The Guy”.

Do you have anything more than the one game that was on ESPN 2?More I look into some of their viewership numbers, I don't think they would negatively impact a future media deal.
Minimum I'd like to get NDSU.
