At this point, I think it’s safe to say that he’ll be back for another year.

Still some P5 OC jobs open that could pay well. Those are possibly worse for us than him going to UTEP as some would see following him as chance to go to p5 school, where UTEP is not a step up.

A kind of cryptic remark from Coach Odom. We will navigate possible changes or words to that effect. Coach Odom has seen the offenses at Alabama, Georgia, BSU, Arkansas and realizes where he has to go to fill that stadium. Coach Smith did it at Oregon State so the road has been blazed in that dismal Corvallis, Oregon setting. So why not, welcome the staff and athletes who come here to fulfill their HC's vision.
