Bean is sick and has been sick. No word on if he plays. Word is that Neal isn't playing either, but if he does, it wont be the full game.
He left the field while all the other QBs stayed and the line dropped considerably.
Edit: back on the field now as of 4:28pm.
KU twitter didnt seem to raise any alarns and he's apparently back on field throwing... also Neal appears to be warming up as well.
That said, the backup has a pretty good arm, just not as fast or shifty as Bean... If Ballard goes instead of Bean, Our DBs are going to have a long night especially if we can't get pressure. Upside will be he's inexperienced and throws into bad spots, but so does Bean
Yeah, I felt 9-10.5 was a pretty accurate range, and feels pretty close to what I expect. Still if this team can avoid a big collapse after a turnover over I think we have a puncher's shot.
Gotta wait for this Texas St. - Rice game to end? Still 11 mins left, that could take 25 mins
Game should switch over soon, Rice laying an egg vs TSU. Too many interceptions for them.
I hope DeJesus isnt' the full focus of our offense tonight. I sure hope they're setting up something else.
