I like Dewey. That was a good article and added some hope for our upcoming season.
Funny how we replaced the guy who led the second most improved defensive fronts with the guy who led the most improved front.

Wow Saxelid got huge! He was probably one of our more consistent linesman at 270. He almost looks like a left tackle now.
He has always had the frame to add more weight. Good to see. One knock was we were to light along the Oline last year.
Just going off what I saw last spring, I am not sure Polu has the feet to play left tackle. Maybe RT tackle or guard. That could change obviously and be improved.
Definitely one of the players I am going to watch this spring.
Outside of Kreitler and Saxelid the other 3 starting spots are up for grabs. Competition will be fun to watch along the the O Line all spring.
Interested to watch coach Samuel work with the D Line group. Emphasis has to be on getting to the QB.

That's what I was wondering. Didn't it say Price was returning? Think he meant Andrew Price.
I think it was Todd just getting feet wet learning roster.
No wonder our depth is improving, Todd is adding players to our roster that don't exist.
I'm glad CTS got "coached up" about letting redshirts keep the redshirts. He needs to build this roster for the future and he was wise to do so last year despite us all wanting him to burn it at the QB position.

We talked about this before but the nature of Deckers injuries made that decision a little easier for him. If Blake would have been out 4+ games in a row maybe he goes to Sneed. With the 'game time decision' nature of the injuries it never made sense to burn the red shirt for 1 or 2 games.
I thought it was the right call not to pull the red shirt.

so excited for this unlv spring to start. cant be able to attend but you guys will tell how they looked. for the typos i think he got confused with Cooper from my raiders.

It was posted above, the weights of our OL last year. Seems like part of the issue was there was so little depth, that the starters played a lot of reps and found it hard to keep the weight on. With better depth and a more agreeable rotation, hopefully those weights can stay up.
