I couldn't be more disappointed to be an OVERALL UNLV fan. It's gone from disappointment to apathy to downright embarrassment as a fan.

WTF have the coaches been doing? My god this team was unprepared to play.
The fundamentals of this team are so awful. It's like they've never been taught gap responsibility on defense.

I was going to lay the opening number. Opened my phone this morning and saw 45. So I took the points.
Do the players on this team really want to play for Sanchez? Intimidation only goes so far. The coaches that left last year didn't want to work for him and a few others applied for jobs elsewhere but couldn't find any. He had an unfair advantage at Bishop Gorman where he could recruit top notch kids, whereas other schools couldn't. Now he is on an even level with other teams as far as recruiting goes and this is the result. I originally predicted this team to win 3 or 4 games this season. I am changing that to two wins now. I can't see them winning in Idaho. UNLV right now wouldn't even be a contender in FCS football.
There is something Fundamentally wrong with UNLV football, I'm trying to think back to the Knapp days

Have been a lurker for awhile on this board but had to make an account to express my frustrations. Howard has NOT been a good team in the FCS for the last 3 years. Not like hover just below .500 or something but REAL bad. They then proceeded to make us look like WE were the FCS team. To me that is telling (that it's going to be a long season), and even though we had lots of turnovers, I don't think it was the soul reason we lost, defense is horrid and the offense just seemed too conservative with the play calling (not enough passes especially downfield). I feel something needs to happen with coaching one way or another(DC getting canned would be an awesome start), because its about to be the same ol' song and dance we've seen from rebel football all these years, 3 wins or less (and sprinkle losing to a bottom half FCS team for icing on top), I love the Rebels with all my heart and its just soooo disappointing to have hopes and dreams and come to find out reality is worse than any nightmare I can think of.........I still hope we can figure this out and quick but after seeing what just happened i'm not gonna hold my breath.
I can't believe anyone would take UNLV -45 is what I meant. Even then I would touch this game. I might've taken the over tho.. whatever that was, clearly it must've went over ? 75 ? 80 ? lol This school is cursed
Could be that I'm just pissed off about this game but I didn't like Sanchez' post game remarks. Almost too nonchalant and dismissive
Does he think he's a lock at UNLV for the 4-5 years cause of Fertitta Money?
