SDSU (6-19, 2-4 MW) is coming off a 7-2 loss to UC Riverside at home on Tuesday, while UNLV (14-10, 2-4 MW) rallied to defeat Arizona State at Las Vegas Ballpark the same evening. Both teams are tied with Air Force for sixth place in the Mountain West standings.

Incredible giving the talent in both SoCal and LV that these schools are so bad in baseball.

SDSU hasn’t made the regionals since 2018 when they had a nice run and made it 5 of 6 seasons from 2013-2018.

UNLv has made the regionals 1 time in the last 19 seasons and only had a winning record in 5 of those seasons.
