Looks like Boise is already selling tickets. Don’t mean to jinx but assuming we take care of business on Saturday would UNLV get an allocation of tickets at Albertson’s stadium?

Or would it be better to jump on tickets now?

Just realized that’s the last time Ricky will play at home for UNLV. Thanks to all the other seniors that put in the work to represent UNLV this season and turning this program around on a dime.

I never thought I care about UNLV football and just blah about basketball.
I can wear my UNLV gear out and be proud.

Super excited for next week game.

But win or lose vs Boise, Odom showed that we can be in the CFP every single year. This CAN be done at UNLV. And with the league getting weaker/diluted …. Non conference scheduling becomes critical …. But you can hit the spot each and every year …. At UNLV.

With the foundation he’s worked so hard to build in non-slow growth time, UNLV might be an easier path to CFP than a mid-level Power conference school. Here, he already knows he can compete for that spot each and every year. A power conference? I don’t know. Yeah, they’ll essentially get 11 spots between however many teams … but of those 11 spots, how many go to that Texas, Penn States and Ohio States nearly automatically by virtue of historic programs and money?

I think it’d be easier to get to CFP as UNLV in the way he’s laid the culture and foundation than as, say Vandy, Minnesota or Purdue …

It ranks who has the right to be angriest at the rankings. This guy says the same thing I and so many others see...we should be clearly ranked ahead of Tulane and it isn't particularly close.

The MWC championship game this year is the CFP play in game. Winner punches their ticket to the CFP! Amazing!

I know he just 'retired'.

I know his style of basketball isn't the most pleasing.

But I would definitely kick the tires on Tony Bennett and see if a year off recharged his batteries. Still a relatively young guy at 55.

Only a few hundred seats are left in the 100 level, and now all of the 200 level seats on both the north and south side are for sale! I am fairly certain they are selling the 200 level seats on secondary markets just like they did for the Boise State game, thus it looks like more seats are sold than are actually sold. The good thing is ticket sales are at about the same pace, which makes it very likely they will be beyond 40K tickets sold, with an outside chance at setting a new attendance record. This without question tells me that a fair number of casual fans are buying tickets to the game.

UNLV will not take their foot off the gas pedal tomorrow …. I wouldn’t say at any point … but they want this to be a statement game, an impressive spread ….

One of the major reasons we suck is rebounding. This year and the three previous years we have been 252nd, 244th, 244th and 123rd in total rebounds per game. You can't be consistently that bad in one the most important aspects of basketball and expect to win. Period. IMO, here are only two reasons this can happen. 1) Not considering toughness in recruiting. 2) Not coaching properly. I think we have both.

UNLV could be ranked again tomorrow. Five losses at the bottom of the top 25 today. I think we might be back in at least one of the polls tomorrow.

Even Utah State pushes it up the court when able. We slow everything down and give the defense a chance to setup.

Just beat UCON. Makes our loss look a touch better.

Grateful for Coach Odom and his staff and for Harp for pulling the trigger on Orroyo when he could have easily taken the easy path and stuck with him but instead found Odom and didn’t hesitate to make the change. It is indeed a wonderful time for us Rebel fans. May it last as long as our tortuous past!
