OT: Someone invite rapper RBX to a tailgate..

Didn’t know he was a Rebel.

Wow, sent to me, didn’t expect this

No, no big news. Was sent to me this morning. I remember when it happened, didn’t know the clip existed though.

I think it’s easy to see that I meant what I said at the time. Obviously, that’s not what happened, I lasted another 30+ years without missing a game.

Pretty consistent. I still don’t like our admin.

It should go straight to the clip, if not, it’s around the 320 mark. I guess I’m 22 in the clip. Friggin’ dork.

Grain of salt

I don’t like commenting without actually seeing for myself.

But from people who have seen … I’m being told with regards to basketball …. Some potential, if things break right, we can fight for the top third of conference, but more than likely expect more of the same of what we’ve seen, sort of middling … not very athletic or big, kinda nondescript other than Dedan who has been really good. Just mediocre across the board … behind defensively, won’t look good in that respect but I always expect that early on in the season. It always lags.

Football, I expected Sluka to start breaking away, it’s still early, especially for him … seems neck and neck with Hajj.

Cuse Nation is Excited

We are getting great response to our tix and tailgate plan

A few questions

Where do the visiting fans sit?

Are the parking folks cool with large tailgates?

When do lots open?

Finally feel free to join our board for free. We like talking with opposing fans.

Michael Allen

There hasn't been much talk about the NCST transfer running back Michael Allen. Coming out of high school Allen was 4 star and ranked the 20th running back in the country. He also ran track and posted a laser timed 4.48 40 in high school. He is strong at 5'11" and 215lbs and there was no reported injuries at NCST. What really piqued my interest was the fact that many of the NCST fans felt Allen was the best rb on the roster and should have have started as the featured back. Instead, the coach went with rotating the running backs and started a senior. Also, Allen has good hands out of the back field. I am really intrigued with Allen and what he potentially adds to the offense. He is explosive. Some film from his sophomore year:

This can’t hurt recruiting!

“Do you want NFL eyes on you during the preseason? Come be a Rebel!”

** Maybe the Raiders can’t scout these practices?? I did hear that NFL teams can have unlimited visits with players from local Universities so SF would be able to get Cal and Stanford players to visit as often as they want. Likewise with LVR and UNLV players **

Pacific December 14

I see we have scheduled Pacific to be played down in Henderson on December 14. Another game that will draw 3-4-5 thousand. To top it off, last year Pacific was # 358 out of 362 TOTAL teams. We could not stoop any lower. We should NEVER play somebody that is that bad. Aim higher. Playing games like that only hurt your computer rankings and your team’s mental toughness. And Las Vegas games away from the T & M are always a big financial flop. Bad attendance is almost guaranteed. Why do this ??? They never learn. Just play two true road games during rodeo and always play at the house that Jerry built when in Vegas…. Geez

MW reaches "deal" with TNT, will air games on their networks this season.

So I have no idea if this will do anything to the existing TV contract. Technically turner is a part of CBS, or more accurately the other way around. The article has no mention of any changes in terms of compensation with this deal.

Also worth noting, there will be zero UNLV games this season with these networks.

I would imagine that could/should increase payouts. Would we offer these games up for free? Or is it just an extension of the CBS contract? Unknown.
