Dude scrubbed every mention of Unlv from his profile 4 secs after Odom took the Purdue job.

Now on his way out he’s blocking all the rebel fans.

The question people will be asking in another year. This is funny, he has attracted some MAC interest and that is it. Maybe we will play him next year vs Miami, OH.

Seems really quiet right now with signing day tomorrow. Saw Brad Odom tweeted about 2 joining the program and Covington announced. Hoping tomorrow ends up being a good day even though team is prepping for Friday.

I’m sorry but UNLV & the local media really dropped the ball with this press conference! There was no info on how to even watch it ahead of time & none of the local channels even showed it like seriously WTF!? This a a huge deal for the program & the city & many of us had to find a link just to be able to watch it it was ridiculous IMO.

Odom was a great hire here!
None of us even mentioned him as a candidate before he was picked. He put us on the map right away and his body of work here showed the world that UNLV was not a “coaching graveyard” but a sleeping giant that needed a shot in the arm. He did that and now after disappointment a week ago has now turned into Dan Mullen! UNLV Football has arrived nationally now and I know the guy has just been named the HC.

My question is…

Is Dan Mullen an even better hire than Odom could’ve been?

If the number of $6MM for our NIL budget is correct that is huge. That is more than half the Big 12 and on par with Miss St. You would think that number would be attractive to the Big 12.

How long before UNLV gets their first 4* or 5* recruit out of high school or as a transfer? My expectation is that UNLV recruiting takes a big jump.

I say $3.2 million for five years, each year it goes up $200k. $75k bonus winning MW championship game, $125k bonus making the playoffs, 250k winning playoff game, $500k winning national championship. $8 million buyout after Jan 1st of each year, going down a million each year retained.
