Tier Opportunities

Last year we had 10 tier 1 opportunities - we went 5-5.

This year, although it can change a little as teams get hotter or colder than expected, it looks like we'll have 8 opportunities ( Memphis was a tier 2 ). Mississippi State, Creighton and Dayton ( OOC). USU, Boise, Reno, SDSU and New Mexico ( Conference played away - they are tier 2 at home ).

Quad 4 loss possibilities. Omaha, Pepperdine, Pacific, Fresno( Home and Away), Air Force (Home and Away), Wyoming( Home only) San Jose ( Home and Away). We need to win ALL of these games.

KK has a decent chance to see the Dance if he can get 5 tier 1, win out tier 4 and split the tier 2 and 3.

"Jet" Thomas and Greg Burrell....

So that scoring offense increase takes away special teams?
Total PPG always includes special teams and defensive points scored. A lot of people don't delve any deeper than that because it gets really tricky to extricate things like field position and situational scoreboard play calling--but luckily, I'm just a big enough nerd with just enough free time to pull that out and give you the offensive only PPG

But I think his INT's would be down this year because freshman QB's almost always improve in throwing picks their sophomore years.
I think that's true enough of the time that there's not much use in trying to argue it with outliers, but he'd have to cut his INT rate in half to get to where Hajj is at, and it's very rare that a QB does that.

I posted this elsewhere but to the point it sometimes looks like a designed play like a delayed draw, but delayed too long. So I can only guess he looked to his first read it wasn't there and he took off.
Some of that is RPO with a QB run, but a decent amount of it is a combination of his presnap read being taken away through disguise and him panicking when the pocket collapses a bit. There several times when he's been boned by S'ua blowing a block, but a lot of times he feels the pocket moving and decides to run, especially laterally, when he doesn't need to do so. There's no question Maiava got through more reads faster.

De Jesus?

I think that's the best way to describe him. More quick than fast (not like he's slow) And willing. He doesn't look to just fair catch. He waits till last possible moment which takes some guts in the punt return game.
Wait. Wait. Wait.

You're talking about a part of the game that involves kickers? What is this world coming to?
I didn't think that kicking was the part of the game that the Good Lord intended.

De Jesus?

Always a threat with kick returns, but he really can turn a loss into a 12 yard game without anything extraordinary from him, just him being slithery and quick.

Lady Rebels

Those two commits were announced in September. I'll have to look up Swillis to get familiar with her basktball.
Yes, but these 2 made it official and signed today.
Cal and Georgetown, offered Alexis Swillis, as well.
Meadow Roland and Swillis, were teammates in Fresno, CA.
So, was Macie James. There's, your connections, right there.
