Yeah, that would be good for UNLV's overall resume if our loss ends up being to a ranked team. Our early season wins against Kansas & Houston haven't ended up being very great up to this point. Kansas finally got a win against Houston after losing 5 in a row. Houston is also 2-5 and plays Utah this week.
I love how Houston had a win over mighty TCU. Nice to look at the team that spit on our face now being a bottom feeder in the Big 12.

Let’s get a big crowd out there!!

Seems ticket sales kinda stalled a bit yesterday. Right now looking like 37k range. Hopefully a strong final 24 hour push.
The number of tickets is limited since I do not believe they will open up the 300 level with only 1 days left until the game. My expectation is that all of the tickets available will sell out just like the Syracuse game (section 100 seating only), with the only way to increase that being if they put in the lower section of seating below the students seating which is around 1,500-2000 seats in total. I think even if they open the additional student seating, they will still end up just short of 40K.

Maddux Madsen (Boise State's QB)

...SO..... My son dated Maddux's older sister in HS & as a Soph my son played baseball with his older brother who was a Sr. Also, my other son, as a Freshman, played baseball with Maddux when he was a Jr... so I know a bit about the family. The Madsen boys are short. Maddux is listed as 5'10" but that's definitely with a brand new pair of cleats on. They're all very, very competitive too. Their Dad was Utah Valley University's baseball coach for a bunch of years until recently. All the Madsen boys have baseball names...Mick, Maddux, Mays & Murphy 🤣

Anyway, Maddux and fam are decent people and all, but they're cocky as all hell. I hope we beat the SH!T out this team...but I'm not sure that's in the cards. A win would do & I'd love to see Maddux turn the ball over a few times just to make it sweeter! I'd hate to bump into any of them if we lose this game, because they know my boys and I are UNLV fans.

Liberty Football

...

Except the refs review it and put a single second back. Flames gonna hail mary? Gonna get involved in the pitch game?

The latter. Flames end up doing basically nothing after an errant pitch on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. The Owls get their first ever win as an FBS team, and their first ever win against an FBS team, beating undefeated Liberty 27-24.

...
Of course, no Hail Mary. They are not a Catholic school! 😆

I’d love to see Syracuse get that W.

OT:P Politics yes and no questions

Victoria Seanan for Mayor?

Tired of hearing Shelley Berkeley..
Victoria represented my district and has been very reachable and responsive to our needs. My main concern about Berkley is that until very recently, she was for continued pursuing legal settlement of the Badlands Golf Course issue which has, thus far, cost the City $500 million in costs. Seaman has been adamantly opposed to continued litigation. BTW the Nevada Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the plaintiff.

James Madison - group of 5 competition?

JMU has now two losses, that said, looks like they are about to expand Stadium from 28 to over 40K, with master plan of getting into new ACC, we all know ACC is going to break up, it's just when?
My question is how much pull does Florida and South Carolina have, neither want FSU/Clemson in the ACC, that's fact.
I heard the Big Ten would like to get into the NC/GA/VA region, UNC/Duke fit the profile of Academic Schools and GT in Atlanta and Clemson in South Carolina.
SEC where can they add that really helps them, i dont see anything, and i dont believe they need anyone, if you look at the facility race each school for all sports are spending, its crazy, plus most of the teams are the professional sports in their State that really helps them out.

UNLV path is to the Big 12, and Big 12 has commissioner who seems very smart, and looks big picture, UNLV has so much untapped potential, it's shame that the administration for 30 years were sitting on the crap house and playing cards. F-Reno to boot
