Last year he threw at will on us, 250 2 TD, no picks. Over 70% completion. He wasn't a statue either. Not a great running QB, but it was possible, something we had to contain (I think with Hawaii he broke 100 yards maybe twice against us?).Nick Nash is leading the country in receiving yards. They can still throw the ball well and will be a big challenge for us.
The bigger issue last year was their rushing attack. They put up over 200 yards on the ground last year, which really hurt us. If we shut them down on the ground, I think we win easily.

We all know that DRF is just a sleaze using her ethnicity and gender for a 7 figure salary on the back of an absolutely horrible job at UNLV.I love KK and will never forget what he did for the program in 06-07.
But it is clear that he is not working out as head coach.
It’s unfortunate because he really had no business being hired as HC in the first place. Extremely under qualified at the time and DRF hit the easy and cheap button picking him. He took the opportunity so it’s on him, but he really was put in a position to fail.
I hope he proves me wrong the rest of the year, but based on last night, I doubt it.
Fortunately for us, no Chevan Cordeiro!SJSU throttled us easily last year. Up by 20 in the 4Q. In a big important game. At home. Just the facts.
Evan’s is redshirtingHow come no Whaley? To me our best lineup is with him and Bear out there.
And yes, what is the deal with Evans as the cannot be as bad as the raw freshman big man that is getting minutes?
We have a bunch of just decent players outside of dj, bear, and swishrain. But we do not have 2 legit p5 guys like the Boone brothers were last year.
Yeah pretty much that whole team. I remember how hyped they all were. Ironically the least of them Ben Carter probably had the best career. Who was that Stanford kid that disappeared after a year? One of many Gorman players that didn’t
Recruiting is worse. No way does this team have the talent of last years team. We do have better depth this year is only positive.I wish there had been some sort of urgency in the offseason. With recruiting, with some sort of philosophical change … something. Because it seriously looks like the same things. Recruiting similar, even the new signees … the product, its the same plays, same MO, same defense. They weren’t at all effective before and the talent hasn’t been significantly upgraded. Just replacing faces and doing the same things.
It’s very bland, very uninspiring. It’s watching the same boring movie over and over.
