But if you just got 120 million dollars from the departure of 4 teams, you kick 5 million to Montana easy... I'm not familiar with NDSUs current stadium/infrastructure to do so, but Montana absolutely has the facilities and are currently constructing a huge indoor football practice facility. Plus their fans are amazing for a small level school. They could easily transition.
Ndsu plays in the fargo dome. Capacity 19,000. Until recently they filled it. Ndsu fans really suck as they act like bama fans, as they have been bama of the fcs. While Ndsu is a small tv market, it is better than Wyoming.

It doesn’t mean UNLV isn’t real, but 3-0 UNLV won against teams that are 2-9

Meh. I think where our programs differ is that for us as UNLV fans, this is uncharted territory. For BSU, it isn't about knocking off average P4 teams. They historically have cashed in on bigger cash ins regularly for 15-20 years. I love that we cashed in twice this year. Keep doing it and leave no doubt.

I dont know if it was in this thread, but my point was it's not ridiculous for BSU to be ranked and UNLV not to be. 3 games in, both teams have clearly got stuff to work on. I'd rather UNLV be in the position we are than the position BSU is. By end of year, I expect Oregon to be in the playoff conversation and Kansas and Houston to be outside Big 12 championship contention, so there is an amount of impressiveness and "we can hang" with top dogs for BSU, even in a loss.
At the end of the day, winning is all that matters.

Being ranked, or just outside of being ranked, is amazing for our program. Never thought in a million years we would be in this position.

However, biggest focus for our team is beating Fresno on Saturday. It is imperative to start off conference play 1-0. The goal in front of us is to win a MWC championship. Do that, and the rest will take care of itself. Beat Fresno!

Absolutely not... Wyoming is going to spiral. Losing longtime HC that established their culture, dated facilities, poor travel to and market exposure... they're great MWC school, not so much if you're building a new conference
Dated facilities? Their facilities are on par with any in the MWC..

I'm not sure where you're getting dated facilities from.

They are renovating current stadium. And their football facility is only like 15 or so years old and has had additions added. In 2018 added a high altitude athletic performance center.

The rest I agree with.

That is only if Hawaii gets a vote, and I am fairly certain they do not have a vote.
I couldn't say with certainty that they have a vote. Are they then technically an affiliate member. I'm sure Colorado College and Washington State as affiliate member don't have a vote. You may be right. Wouldn't that be funny if Washington State had a vote just because they have their baseball and swim team in the MW.

Remember if we are talking about a rebuild of the MW. FCS teams have to pay a 5 mil fee for moving up.
I think you start with UTEP and NMSU those are the easy ones. Those would be cheaper and they are arguably better right now.
Maybe UTSA but the AAC would have to blow up for that to work. Same with UNT or Rice.
But I would favor an AAC merger if they get blown up. CUSA maybe too. Keeping things regional will help a lot.

Odom finishes strong and we are looking?

What current HC would UNLV be in the market to poach, lol... I mean maybe current soon to be former, like 100% I'd call Napier if he was available after Florida cans him and if we had an opening...

Dave Aranda....He may be looking for work...

Honestly though.

Texas State HC I'd give a look at.

Crazy thing. He's making 800k at Texas State. UNLV just started paying that kind of money recently.

Also a school I'd consider if MWC looks to rebuild.

5th largest University in Texas (According to Wikipedia)

Only been FBS for 12 years.
