So much for the theory of a slow build.
This does seem to be our MO.I just don’t want to see us firing deep balls straight outta the gate. A little ball control early and see if they can stop a drive. Honestly take a bit out of what Syracuse did to us and keep the chains moving.
I am thinking that as well just because of how much it would help with continuity in general as well as keeping recruits. I would lean heavily on Odom's private thoughts on that, but unless they nail a home run hire for continuity I would keep Marion. Hopefully it doesn't end up being an issue and he stays. We gotta find a way to keep Barry…. I don’t know if it’ll happen, but man we just haven’t seen this in football before. If he does take a job elsewhere I think they should probably hire Marion.
I don't disagree with you about the prices. They're fair. IMO, whether right or wrong, I think it's easier to get people to come back additional times, than it is to get them in the building for the 1st time.Listen I know people have different financial situations but these prices are more than reasonable for a college football game these days. Add in the fact that the venue alone is a top of the line NFL Venue where the amenities and concessions are top tier. The prices aren’t holding fans from coming, they just aren’t. People complained about Sam Boyd’s location, the dirt parking lot, bathrooms, concessions, the open end zone. UNLV is blood letting set to come up witha crazy figure just to be in consideration of keeping Barry Odom and we want to sit here and complain about lowering ticket prices. We can’t have it both ways. People are willing to spend crazy amounts on Raider tickets and Knights tickets. Win and get momentum and people will show. Look at what’s happening right now
Im sorry, but how many locals do you know regularly drop 250$ to go clubbing that would also attend a UNLV game...These same people have no issue with spending $100 for a meal, or dropping $250 in a club. The cost isn't an issue, all that discounting the price of tickets will do is piss off those loyal fans who paid full price.
Me either, but if it came to OT I would take that.yeah, I'm not sure if my heart can take an OT game, lol
40K would be awesome. IF they win this game I would love to see the trend continue for home games this season. At this point, it should be 40k + in attendance. Would be cool to get even more sold in the 300 level.
It would be nice if he got the information right. He listed the Syracuse game as the most attended UNLV football game at Allegiant with a little over 31K fans, somewhere along the line he forgot that the Iowa State game had around 35K fans.I wonder WHY??? Login to view embedded media

That has to be the plan or Scherer ODOM hypes him up. 1000% you have to keep as much staff as possible. Odom leaves and take his staff we will have to another rebuild. UNLESS we find a HOMERUN HIRE!We gotta find a way to keep Barry…. I don’t know if it’ll happen, but man we just haven’t seen this in football before. Look at what’s happening right nowI've been on that train for a while also. I know there's a cost to opening up different levels due to staffing, etc, but we also want to build the crowds. This Boise game is huge obviously, but maybe they can offer some discounted rate for the next home game to all people that attended the Boise game. Or something similar.
