If, we joined the AAC. UNLV, would be the one to suffer in traveling the most.I'm hoping Memphis stays and then Tulane stays. For me I want UNLV to bounce to the AAC. I have a feeling that is the best thing we can do for our future. The AAC would be awesome. Sure the travel will be an issue but Lady Rebel basketball and Football will thrive. Time to move on. From the WAC not wanting us for many years to the PAC not wanting us now I am so sick of the West coast nonsense. I'm ready. Go Rebels.
I do not expect UNLV to stay in the MWC.
I do not expect UNLV to stay in the MWC.I don't disagree.
Winning helps a lot and will draw eyeballs.
I just personally think sustainability could be impacted playing in a lesser conference than we are currently.
That's it.
Wow what a game. WSU takes lead off pick now up 43-38 19 unanswered points. 4:56 to go
UNLV just needs to keep winning. In regards to the TV rating for UNLV, that is all a bunch of BS. UNLV sucked in football until recently, so of course nobody watched them on TV. With the way UNLV has played last year and this season, the past viewership numbers mean nothing.

I'm hoping Memphis is playing the PAC for a better piece of the pie in the AAC.
But a lot of smoke from some pretty credible sources writes etc who feel that deal is close.
I just want the best result for UNLV that's it.
I am not sure there would be a huge difference in cost between Tampa (USF) and Memphis in regards to flying out west to play teams in the PAC. Both would need to spend millions in additional funds between all their different teams. Travelling to Washington State, Oregon State, Boise State, Fresno State and StDSU will all be long trips. The PAC should have been named the NWPAC! Can you imagine the cost to go from Tampa to Eugene to play Oregon State (3000+ miles) or Memphis 2270+ miles)
