I agree and think it could be good for unlv too. Unless the 6 pac isn't offering similar deals to the additional needed teams. In that case, letbthe 6 flounder and blow up when the 2 year time limit runs out

And of course Kansas gives up a 28-17 lead with five minutes left. Every one of our non conference games is being reduced in terms quality this week.

Even with Syracuse, Memphis and NIU losing today. I doubt we’ll be ranked in the AP Top 25 this week with both KU and Houston losing. I wouldn’t doubt it if we even lose a few votes. Those 2 wins just don’t look that impressive anymore.

Memphis and Tulane might be able to do it alone, but would they want to if they're still thinking they may get into the ACC or Big 12? It would be a tough decision taking into account the risk with the unknown media deal and all the added travel.

In other G5 news NIU lost to Buffalo.

I've said this a 1000x if I am a G5 program looking to make waves I am absolutely never scheduling Army/Navy or AFA...

Those option offenses are hard to prepare for and the risk of losing to them is greater than the reward of beating them.

I feel like Kansas will fix things, but yeah, overall, the wins aren't as impressive as originally thought. Even still, winning on the road is tough, so we'll take it. Really need a win vs Fresno next week at home though as the SJSU and Syracuse games are looking tougher than we thought before the season started

Off topic. I did enjoy reading that Navy defeated Memphis! Hopefully UNLV will move into the top 25 in the AP

KU has lost 3 one score games. This is an example of it all went right (last season) to it's all going wrong (this year)..

AP Poll wise: Nebraska (22), NIU (23), Memphis (26), and Syracuse (27) all lost. Boise was just ahead of us at 28 and they should kill Portland State.

There’s a chance we move into the top 25 in the AP poll this week. If not, will be just on the edge.

I have read 3 different articles now all stating they think the new PAC deal will more than likely be in the 4-6 million range. If that is more accurate than 10-15 million why would any team from AAC go to the PAC?
