“Expectations for opportunities were not met.” Doesn’t sound like a money issue.

Re playing time: why would a coach bring someone in and tell them “I expect you to get xyz touches.” No one would say that. Expectations are a self driven mechanism. He had expectations coming here and they weren’t met.

I don’t see this the same way you do; Mask
I get it.. wouldnt have been my first conclusion either had it happened in a vacuum without last nights announcement.. But you could definitely read into "Expectations for opportunities" to also imply opportunities to earn more NIL money through marketing appearances, etc... I hope its more just wanting Playing time, think thats all it is... but after last nights stuff unfolding, its rough timing to be just about playing time...

UNLV Exploring Options After USU Joins PAC

Collusion in and of itself wouldn’t necessarily be the problem, I mean there had to be collusion since all 4 came in at the same time. Colluding amongst the four, along with the PAC 2 while the MW was in active negotiations with the PAC 2 would be the issue.

The flip side of this is that I read something today where the MW was trying to recruit WSC directly and apart from Oregon St… that too could have been done in bad faith, so…
But the traitor 4 helped draft the contract being judicially scrutinized as to its legality.

YES NO POOP!

Ok well let's get Gloria on the phone. Get some discovery going and reverse sue them!

The issue is the way he also phrased it...

I believe he was brought in by Marion. Marion is also the reported assistant that made Sluka the verbal offer. If these 2 have a similar "verbal offers/expectations" i.e. starting or $$, thats not a good look for your OC.

Best of luck to him, he committed to a very full RB room already. Cant blame him to want to go get playing time elsewhere, but he couldnt have waited a few days and just sat out?

Digital Footprint

I remember a week ago that there was a thread about increasing the digital footprint of UNLV football. Just like the genie in the bottle that you let out, you need to be very careful how you ask for your wishes. UNLV now has the MWC/PAC in war with UNLV stuck in the middle, and now we also have a SLUTka that has left over what appears to be his worth to the team on a slide scale based on the Kansas game? UNLV now has more stories on ESPN than the next five programs combined!

Sluka Redshirting and Transferring

The smartest part of that official UNLV statement is UNLV said Sluka made a FORMAL request for money which is a violation of the NIL. It would be seen as a pay for play.

If that’s true then no team is going to take him since he’s tainted.

The Sluka team has no choice but to say anything they told UNLV was informal, so no NIL violation, but that also means UNLV didn’t do anything wrong. They simply declined an informal offer they weren’t willing to consider. Sluka quits

I trust in the UNLV school president, the AD, and Odom. I think the MWC/PAC issue and Sluka will all be fixed by honest hard work by UNLV!
