Snooty Predators

Trust me if I had info I'd spill the beans.

Gut feeling.

They had to have pretty good feeling they could get this done.

I'm sure there were contingency plans if top targets fell through.

AFA may be the point of no return for MWC.

They leave, you are down to 7 and Hawaii being football only is problematic.

This appears to be well orchestrated. Underhanded, sneaky....Yep.But well planned out.

Whether UNLV is part of the discussions is really the biggest question mark.
Part of discussion with whom? The Traitor Fours? Probably not. Discussion with PAC2? That is what I heard. The first.

First time NON-P5 school in history??

Yeah that is kind of cool it’s hard to imagine no SEC team has done that? I guess because they nevertheless play two road games out of conference vs good teams?
Look at the teams from the SEC, BIG play in their OOC schedule. That is the time they would play the body bag games to pad their resume. After they've tune up their teams then they play their conference games. NIU and UNLV just happens to snuck in there and stole a few this year.

Is this speculation, or information? It doesn't sound like speculation so spill the beans. ;)

If this tweet is to say that no non Big 12 team ever has beaten two Big 12 teams on the road in the same season, that's actually sorta cool.

I mean, only 30 years to account for there, but it's still pretty cool.

They aren't coming back.

This thing is further along than any of us think.
Cool. Let's see how this thing transpires. This reminds me of Clemson and Florida State arguing with the ACC when their season is shit. How much power do they think they have? CSU got obliterated by CU and Texas. BSU loss a game they should have won. SDSU is barely breathing. Fresno is good. Come Step 28 vs UNLV we will see how good they are.

That is cool. Of course, in 1988 my Cougs beat two Big 10 teams and an SEC team, all on the road. Plus a Southwest Conference team in our bowl game.
Still, did WSU beat two Big 12 teams on the road?
We're celebrating so little achievement at UNLV because success is rare. Beating teams from the BIG and SEC would be better, assuming those teams are respectable ones.

The LETS RUN podcast arrives

Its on X, youtube, spotify, apple podcasts. I get most of the listens through email on my substack though. X is growing though.
Been listening on Spotify. I actually posted about it today in a different thread (I forget which). Good conversation with Bronco Bleymeier, but man did he hold UNLV fans and market interest to a different standard than CSU and SDSU

Unlv & Air Force in contact w/AAC

A Board member. What Board? The Nevada Regents?

On a similar note, my neighbor's daughters' friend said Haitians ate her cat.

Just funning. The six-Pac needs to cut the deal to get up to 8. F- Tulane and Memphis and anyone else east of Mountain time. Get UNLV and whoever else. AF, Wyoming in desperation UNR or UNM. Wish I could say SJSU but with their f-ed stadium and lack of interested fans they suck other than location. BUT if they have a plan to build up their stadium, and being in the same market with disinterested CalFurd, maybe they are a viable option. We just need to get to 8 and take a deep breath.
What are OSU and WSU records the last 5 years in the PAC 12 football?

AAC - ACC

Texas school do nothing, you talking small input, granted Pac is glorified MWC. How happy is ACC with SMU, PAC should look at them.
If UNLV gets left out, drop football, go all in hoops and baseball and join WCC with gonzaga. F RENO
I think they bridge the geographic gap somewhat effectively, making it more palatable for non FB/MBB sports of Memphis and Tulane, if that's who they are going after. SMU would be fine in the ACC, it's stupid, but they'd be fine. Cal/Stanford is ridiculous and they probably won't last.

Prospective TV partners will, I'm assuming, inform whether they go after any Texas schools
