I never liked that the team went up there, always felt it was an unnecessary trip. I hope Sanchez keeps the kids in town.
Will the team still go to Ely?

They remain in town. Sounds like a few practices will be on base and at Sam Boyd however.
I like that some practices will be at Sam Boyd and a day or two of camp out at the Air Force base.
Keeping the kids in town will be much better. Using the facilities on campus (weight room, training etc..) has to be better than what was available in Ely. The premise behind going to Ely was team building and getting away from everything to focus. Nice in theory but the players were pretty excited when the news dropped about no more Ely. I dont think it had the desired effect Hauck and Co wanted.
