The Rebels six-point victory proved to be the MW blow-out of the day. Air Force was next with a 78-73 victory at home to Utah St. The other two games were both one-point wins for the home team: Boise St over Colorado St 74-73 and Fresno St over UNR 77-76.
Life on-the-road in the MW is indeed a struggle. At the moment, the conference standings look like this:
Boise St 2-0
New Mexico 1-0
UNLV 1-1
UNR 1-1
Wyoming 1-1
Fresno St 1-1
Colorado St 1-1
Air Force 1-1
SDSU 0-0
San Jose St 0-1
Utah St 0-2
So, we’ll be getting a visit from the league-leaders on Wednesday. We need to defend the T&M, and I believe we are perfectly capable of doing that against all of these teams. Parity is a reality in the MWC in 2017.

Some updated notes & Standings. The one glaring addition is Sundays game at San Diego. New Mexico paid a visit to the Aztecs for SDSU's conference opener. The Lobos came away with the "W". Does this mean that UNM is better than most thought, or is it that The Aztecs just ain't all that?
Also, I've included some handicapping stats for those who might wager on these games. The one that immediately stands out is that of the 10 games in-conference, played so far, 8 have gone over the total. Also, home teams have done slightly better, holding a 6-4 edge. My shorthand goes like this:
